"Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt hier. Rehe, Hasen und verschiedene Vögel waren regelmäßige Besucher. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und ungestört. Es war ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Berlin, Hamburg, Ratzeburg, Schwerin, Lübeck, Celle, an die Nordseeküste und viele weitere Orte. Die Besitzer waren sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus selbst ist faszinierend und erinnert sowohl innen als auch außen an einen Bahnhof. Ein fantastischer Urlaub!"

"The hotel is a good walkable location for accessing the town center and Schloss. Staff and check in were excellent. The rooms were spacious, modern, well decorated, and clean. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The parking garage was inexpensive and there was plenty of spaces. That is the good. It was a hot June weekend and a key criteria for choosing a hotel was an AC cooled room. Outside during the day, it was 32 centigrade. The room at check in was close to 30. When we returned in the evening the outside temperature was 24 centigrade. The room was still close to 30. We turned on the AC, all it did was blow warm air. Front desk was not able to assist. We were forced to sleep in a hot room that never cooled over the course of the night. Cooling should be based on room temperature and occupancy, not outside temperature."

"Needed a stay for 1 night while on the road. Booked online. Arrivedto check in, staff member was on the phone. He didn't acknowledge my arrival, and, once iff the phone, continued working at his desk. 2 men arrived, and with that, staff member got up to assist them first, but they stated that i was ahead of them. He was sullen and as unhelpful as could be. I filled out the paperwork and we went up. The room was basic, it could definitely use some freshening, fresh paint and upgrades to the sad looking bathroom. Overall, its a mediocre place and I would never stay here again."

"The hotel is great, the restaurant and breakfast are delicious ! We were lucky enough to enjoy asparagus and strawberry season ! The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The village and the area are lovely. It is a very nice placecto stay."
