About this property

Precioso Ático EN Edif. Histórico PZA DEL Pilar

  • The Penthouse is located in a building with a prime location, across from the Basilica, offering beautiful views; it has served as a filming location for several films, TV shows, and broadcasts of major events
Every effort has been made to preserve the building’s original features while incorporating contemporary design trends, blending an industrial aesthetic with classic furnishings and all modern amenities (Wi-Fi, air conditioning, smart TV, etc.)
    The Space
The penthouse is located in a building with a prime location, in the very heart of Plaza del Pilar, right across from the Basilica.
It is a late 19th-century building designed by architect Fernando de Yarza on commission from the Marquis of Ayerbe, which is listed as a site of “Architectural Interest” and also as an “Aragonese Cultural Heritage Site.”
On the ground floor is the “Pasaje de la Industria y el Comercio,” popularly known in Zaragoza as the “Pasaje del Ciclón” because of a huge toy store that operated there for over 100 years. The arcade itself is also listed separately from the building as an Asset of Aragonese Cultural Heritage. The arcade is one of only three of this style still standing in Spain.
Both the building and the arcade were constructed in an elegant French style, modelled on the shopping arcades of the time (1880) found in other European cities, particularly Paris
The owners’ connection to the property dates back to the time the building was constructed, and in fact, they still live in the house today with their children, just as the six previous generations of their family did, so they are proud to now share it with discerning guests who can appreciate the blend of tradition and modernity they have sought to infuse into the apartments.
In conclusion, it is the ideal accommodation for an unforgettable stay in our city
