We were very satisfied with the accomodation Staff was very nice and helpful - kids friendly place - pool area was great and calm almost the whole time - rooms were cleaned daily and we always got clean towels - big fridge and a/c (extea fee ) were available would come back any time

very pleasant place for a relaxed stay on beautiful Zakynthos. Instead of the studio we booked, we stayed in a detached house with our own bedroom, kitchen and even a brand new machine that was fitted during our stay. A few minutes walk from the main accommodation and the swimming pool. Very friendly staff who solved any problem immediately if possible.

Cost effective

This is one of the cheapest accommodations in the area and that price point is a fair reflection on the accommodation. It is situated in a quiet spot about 5 mins walk from the main area, so is a good spot for young familys with the pool and bar area very compact aswel as the road being very quiet and not suitable for fast vehicles. The rooms are standard Mediterranean traditional rooms, the bed was comfy, and the room had a kettle and fridge which was good. The staff generally are friendly, the food and drink are averagely priced for the area. I have visited Alykanas a number of times before, and was using the accommodation as a base to visit my favourite places, i felt that caused a little bit of friction with the gentleman running the accommodation as i feel i was expected to spend more money at the bar. All in all, its a cost effective way to stay in a popular destination that has a alot of visitors who have visited 20+ times!

property is very dated inside the apartment. Only 2 power points. Our booking was 2 bed studio plus sofa bed. We had 2 beds only which was fine for mum and daughter. No chairs, no dressing table area, just kettle and fridge. Basin in bathroom soaked you every time you turned the tap on as it spurted out over the sink. Toilet leaked over bathroom floor and shower was just a tray no door. Apart from that Owner and staff were very accommodating to our moans and did their best. Cleaner came in and changed towels daily. Can’t fault the cleanliness at all. Pool area excellent

Off the beaten track

Only 5 min walk away from town centre this is a pleasant place to stay. Studio rooms basic but clean. Housekeeping every day and towels changed twice per week. Bathroom clean but tired, new shower heads would be good. No air con but not needed in May, ceiling fan but cannot comment on whether cool enough in high season. Pool clean and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Food good, smashing breakfast most mornings we were there, and good value. Lesley, Garry and their family very friendly and make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Only real gripe is the dog barking at approx 08:30 every morning, please address this Lesley and Garry as may affect your ratings in time and that would be a shame as you are lovely people. If you are looking for 'up market' then Zante Garden is not for you, but a peaceful, out of the way place to sleep, eat, drink and relax then Zante Garden fits the bill.

Worst experience then ever

This place is not offering you basic amenities like WI-FI,Air-condition,Washroom soap,Shampoo , TV, Utensils, Basic cooking stuff. They have very old fan and that is not working properly( very slow and cant help you during hot days and night) For each and everything you have to pay extra. Rooms are very small... pools are closed after 8PM but in same local area others are working. no guide no local convene. dont have possibility to see neature. dont have view.

The service was unacceptable.. The room was dirty and without the proper specifications to relax a guest. When I saw that the bathroom had no soap, I was confirmed for the rest of the things I would see.

I had mixed feeling on arrival but the staff wss very good. They were able to service our quiers and resolved concerns. I was extremely happy with the service and found all staff were happy to go above and behond to make our stay as good as it was .. Im vert happy to recommend to my friends and hopefully go back very soon

Lovely hotel close to the beach and restaurants

Friendly hotel near to beach and restaurants but off the main road if you like a little peace. Gary and Lesley make you feel wecome from the minute you arrive. Great pool for the kids with a snack bar for when they get hungry and a fab full english breakfast every morning. All the staff can’t do enough for you and make for a relaxing stay.
