"Beautiful hotel! "

"I'm happy we were only here for one night. There's not many places where you can eat (on a Monday at least) so we ended up eating at the hotel, which was fine, but I found it too expensive for what we got. Our first experience at the hotel, which honestly is not acceptable is that when we arrived to the hotel room we were looking at the room and bathroom where we were staying. I was going to the bathroom when I saw there was PEE on the toilet seat, just gross! So we went down to the reception...

"The hotel is good if your wanting to really get away from it all. It is in the Valley and is a rare find. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. You can sit in the garden, play a game of cards or read a good book or simply head to the pool."

"The grounds of this property are beautiful and well kept. I felt like there could have been more information provided about the history of the buildings and location. The room was clean and decent but there was only one outlet on each side of the bed which had the bedside lamps plugged in so you had to choose between charging devices or a lamp (not the end of the world) the breakfast was lovely and we ate at the restaurant one of our two nights . "Pleasant rustic hotel in good location at side of lake, ample free parking. Room quite large with plenty of storage space. We booked room with lake view, can be noisy as this also looks over bar and restaurant. Breakfast adequate continental, dinner in restaurant very good. Downside is basic maintenance, worn lock on bedroom door, creaking doors, wardrobe door would not stay closed, toilet system flush required replacing, reported no WiFi in bedroom for 3 days finally working on day we departed."
