We loved our stay in Low Head - it was so peaceful and tranquil. The Pilot's cottage was adorned with all we needed and you felt like you are away from it all. Beauty Point

Narawntapu is referred to by those keen to promote it as the "Serengeti of Tasmania". Frankly, I think that's a bit far fetched but there certainly is animal life here. I was actually hoping to photograph a frog as you can hear heaps of them. Then, suddenly, in the middle of the trail, there it was. Sadly in the mouth of a copperhead though. The snake slithered under the brush at the side and I had to prod it with my tripod to coax it back on the trail in order to get my shots.
