Ok for a short time. Thin walls so not good if you have a heavy snorer next door. Self check in and no support staff on site. Dishes etc provided but have to be washed in bathroom sink and no cloth or scourer provided.

The self check-in worked well. Starting to worry a bit though, as didn't get the code until 2 hours before 2pm check-in time. Property was very quiet and suited our needs. The tea towel & cleaning cloth were damp, so presume not replaced from previous occupant or had been used for cleaning the room. Carpets could have been a bit cleaner.

We booked a family room and it was two separate rooms with adjoining doors. This was fantastic to have kids and parent separated yet connected to share toiletries. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, if it were warmer we may have been able to try the pool. Way too chilly for us.

Delightful overnight stay in York
We enjoyed our brief overnight stay in York in this abode - very clean, our rooms were available early and check-in/check-out was easy. Maybe abit drafty in winter thru the doors but luckily there's AC heating.

The Heater didnt WORK and it was Bloody freezing,You cant even contact any one to Change rooms,dirty towels left in bath room and sumone elses clothes in room ??

Well all ok, but think having to get in bath to have a shower sucks when you are in your mid seventies. Also I asked for a room as close to the restaurant as possible but lo and behold it was nearly the most furthest room from the restaurant bed was comfortable the female host was very helpful. Enjoyed Greg and Kay Kalgoorlie people

Stayed here for a night with 5 mates on motorbikes. Easy parking off the street and we actually just parked our bikes outside our rooms. Easy check in (contactless) with a coded lock box holding the key which makes it so easy. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good bed and linen. Very reasonable rates and the restaurant and bar were outstanding. Food was excellent and the poor old bar man/waiter who was working by himself did an amazing job ensuring everyone in the place was fed and watered without a problem. Definitely recommend for singles or couples.

Great central location, comfy beds, easy parking. We had the 'family room' which was great for 2 adults, 2 kids as we had 2 bathrooms. With small children it would have been better if we were on the ground floor on the courtyard side but for a short stay it was ok. We utilised the in-room appliances for simple breakfast as well as free BBQ at park for a cooked breakfast. We were not satisfied with our meals or the price at the Settlers House Tavern- this was the let down of our trip even after asking a 'local' for recommendations (we later found the Sport & Rec bar/cafe would have been more suited to us). Being on the 2nd floor the shower pressure was lacking also but other than this accommodation was satisfactory for us on our trip. Room was deodorised but a smell of stale tobacco smoke lingered occasionally. We thoroughly enjoyed York and will come back.

Great find
Just what was needed and the staff are super responsive if you have a question/problem. Definitely recommend , only down side is we were on first floor via stairs ( my weary bones dragging heavy suitcase) Close to towns main street and heaps of eateries.
