Driving through Mississippi, I had a chance to stop at Yazoo City! I instantly regretted traveling on a holiday because the downtown area looked like so much fun but everything was closed. The building are painted in bright colors and there are plywood guitars with different designs painted on them all along both sides of the road.
There’s also a children’s area where a mural has been painted.

"Staff super friendly. Rooms werent as booked, but ended up with one suite and one regular when booked two regulars so mistake was to our benefit. Breakfast was great! Hot omlets, bacon, buscuits and gravy! Hair on bathroom floor (i hate that!) Too tired to change rooms after driving all day."
