"View is great, but I faced several issues with the cabin 1. Shading was broken 2. Lights at the ground floor were not stable. They were flashing all the time. 3. The jacuzzi has two faucets. Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Yaylalar?
The best area to stay in Yaylalar is within the main village itself, which offers the most convenience and access to local amenities.

Yaylalar village is the central point for most visitors to the area. It's a compact settlement located in a valley, with the Barhal River running through it. The village is characterised by traditional stone and wooden houses, a small mosque, and a few guesthouses. Most facilities, such as small shops and local eateries, are concentrated along the main road that passes through the village.

For trekkers and hikers, staying in Yaylalar village is ideal. It serves as a primary starting point for numerous trails into the surrounding KaƧkar Mountains, including routes to the high-altitude lakes and passes. Many guesthouses in the village can arrange guides and provide packed lunches for day trips, making it a practical base for exploring the natural landscape.

Couples looking for a peaceful mountain retreat will also find Yaylalar village suitable. The tranquil environment, stunning mountain views, and the opportunity for gentle walks along the river or through nearby orchards provide a relaxing escape.
When is the best time to go to Yaylalar?
The best time to visit Yaylalar is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is most favourable for outdoor activities.

During this period, the mountain passes are typically clear of snow, making it ideal for exploring the high-altitude pastures and hiking trails. The temperatures are pleasantly mild, great for enjoying the natural beauty of the Kackar Mountains without the extreme heat of lower elevations or the cold of winter.

This season is particularly good for travellers who enjoy trekking and nature walks. You'll find the meadows in full bloom, and the longer daylight hours allow for extended exploration of the valleys and traditional yayla settlements.
