1. The Wesley Apartment

"Lovely spacious, clean & comfortable apartment in excellent location few minutes walk to Wells & shops. Good place to stay for exploring other attractions around the area, Cheddar Gorge, Haynes Motor Museum, Bath, etc. I would highly recommend especially for a couple. Not suitable for wheelchair bound or those who have difficulty with stairs as it is situated on the fourth floor with four flights of stairs to climb."

"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. There is no where to eat within walking distance but the 2 local pubs are a short walk and the locals are very friendly. As we were there for a week...

Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Bristol. The hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. The hotel was incredibly clean and it smelled great! The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. I was even able to sign into Netflix on the room's TV. The drinks were great; the cocktails were outstanding. Parking was great, very safe, secure and reasonably priced. We will definitely return. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Only downside is there's no spa facilities - a hot tub would have been nice. Also, my Mrs wanted a sweet treat quite late. I asked if we could have a dessert at 10pm and a nice lady said yes, she gave me a menu. 2 minutes later I returned to a different member of staff and he wouldn't let us order a dessert, he completely shut me down. Slightly disappointing. Apart from that, brilliant!"

The Bristol Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I was very impressed with price for great room and breakfast. Was central to all the walking we wanted to do. Following a Mystery Guide puzzle walk, then comedy magic at Smoke & Mirrors, then great food at the Himalayan, then 3 hours busy at SS Great Britain dockyard Hotel Bristil was perfect location for our stay. Would happily use again"

Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre

10/10 Excellent

"A great welcome from the check in reception team was a good start. The room was not overly big, a small gap between the bed and the wall was a bit hard to manoeuvre but this was trivial as the rest of the room was perfect. It had all the amenities you'd expect, and iron, ironing board and hairdryer but it also had some extras that you don't find in every hotel any more.. hair conditioner and body lotion were a lovely touch. The temperature of the room was perfect and the plug atthe side was a nice touch to use the hairdryer in front of the mirror. There were ample plugs and usb sockets at both sides of the bed. Breakfast was very substantial with a great selection. Especially gluten free and vegetarian options. Staff were wonderful, just be prepared that the close the breakfast area at 10am or near enough."
