"I have traveled and worked in Japan for 10 years. This hotel onsen is the finest I have visited. The baths are located in your room, in common areas and in private family baths. There is a very special bath just steps away from the hotel below a WATERFALL, that can only be described as HEAVEN ON EARTH. I will return for another week at this hotel in April. Thank you Expedia for leading me to this magnificent destination."

The staff were friendly and helpful, the property and surroundings were quiet, it was nice that the property was sitting next to a very clean river. "Everything you need at a great price"

"The hot springs, including private ones, are amazing (and sulphurous), and so are the views from the hotel. The food is simple and good, both at dinner and at breakfast. On the other hand, rooms have cheesy smell to them, probably from mold; wifi is very weak."
