"this is not your average place to stay. Off the beaten track at the top of a very old village. Once booked in time to take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery and the house dog and cat. This is a rustic house so don't expect perfection and enjoy the experience. The host cooked a delicious 3 course dinner for us with wine costing 20 euros each and there was a fully stocked bar charged at very reasonable rates. "The rooms are extremely small and very hot in summer. The bed is very hard as well as the pillows. On the upside, the food was very good and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the reservation we did through Expedia was not honored correctly. Once they realized the mistake they tried to correct but the harm was done. They always claimed that Expedia did not send the reservation details correctly!"
