People spat into plants in hotel lobby and smoked in elevators but this is my persistent complaint about China in general. Quite a lot of mainland Chinese don't seem to be able to understand the basic hygiene and health implications with such behaviours."

"Do not imagine yourself staying in a five stars hotel. This is a very old property. The furniture and amenities are old and beat up. The staff is friendly and competent. The cleaning crew is very friendly and did a good job. The issues arise from the property showing its age that’s all. If you want a true luxury experience I suggest looking for another place:)"
