I had the pleasure to experience the Rui plaza in London for 4 night in total which I extended it for 1 more night. 15 min walk to Big Ben, Thames, Abbey, Parliament and other. Hotel nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood. The rooms are nice, my floors could have been swept better. There seems to be water issues with this hotel. My room was switched due to leak, I heard others complained about water issues in their rooms as well. As a solo famale- I noticed the door guards were missing. I felt a bit uncomfortable with this, but survived as overall nothing happened. Another reason I couldn’t give this hotel a higher start had nothing to do with the staff- they were helpful and attentive BUT we are in year 2026 - the TVs in the room are not smart TV. I could not log into any of my streaming services to watch them. I was stuck watching the local channel. It took away major point for me feeling comfortable in my room. Everything shuts down in that area after a certain time and also in the hotel… so stock your room in advance. Would I stay there again? No- not because the hotel was horrible… it wasn’t, but location did not give what it needed to give.

Situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance of EVERYTHING, and if you did not feel like walking, the subway was just down the street. Tremendous pubs, theatre and entertainment right outside the door. The staff were AMAZING!!!! Knowledgeable and at your disposal 24/7. Perfect place to stay
