Comfy vacation home on the dike + Wi-Fi + pet-friendly (HS rentable Sat to Sat)

Our holiday home is updated every year to meet the high expectations of our guests (summer 2022: new renovation). It offers everything a large (and small) family needs and is ideal for house-trained and good-natured pets.

The house stands in a small settlement directly behind the dike with good gastronomy is just a few steps, also not far from Dorum Neufeld with its new "Watt`n- Bad", which opened its doors in the year, 2014.

The large garden is ideal for relaxing or for playing. There are plenty of parking available, as well as terraces. The large lawn is ideal for sunbathing and barbecues. Garden furniture and barbecue are available. Bicycles can be safely stored in the shed.

The living area is approximately 85m².

Many monuments and museums are just a short drive away. Also, the region offers ideal opportunities for bike excursions and horseback riding.

Rental period in high season: Saturday to Saturday (at least 7 days). In the off season at least 4 days.

We stayed at this holiday house for over two months and overall I would rate it around 7–8 out of 10, not quite a 10 yet.The location is extremely peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature and truly eye-catching scenery. The garden adds a lot of privacy and comfort, and I could have enjoyed the landscape forever.The house itself is tastefully decorated and very well equipped – everything you might need is provided. We also really appreciated the very warm and friendly welcome.It is an older house, which gives it a lot of charm and character through its architecture, but at the same time it would benefit from some thoughtful renovations. For example, the bathroom could use some updating.The main area for improvement is cleanliness in the bedrooms. The mattresses and cushions carried noticeable odors, and the blankets and pillows would benefit from more frequent washing or replacement. The bed sheets were left for us to put on ourselves, which unfortunately made us aware of the less-fresh condition of the bedding underneath. Even something simple like using laundry softener or a fresh fragrance would help future guests feel more comfortable.All in all, we had a peaceful and comfortable stay, and with some improvements in hygiene and a bit of renovation, this property could easily reach a 9–10 score.

Wir durften in dem Ferienhaus, das der Beschreibung entsprach, einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen. Das Haus war stilvoll eingerichtet und liegt zentral für Unternehmungen und dennoch ruhig direkt hinter dem Deich. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das nette Empfangsgeschenk und die umfangreiche Küchenausstattung.

Einmal und nie wieder

Das Haus war sehr schmutzig, überall Staub und Spinnweben. Auf dem Küchentisch lagen noch vertrocknete Krümel vom Brot. Der Backofen war vor Dreck nicht zu benutzen. Die Couch war voller Hundehaare. Der Spülkasten vom WC war defekt und wie wir am vorletzten Tag erfahren haben, schon seit über einem Jahr. Das einzig positive, was wir erwähnen können, ist die Vielzahl an Steckdosen und Kleiderbügeln, das hat man nur sehr selten.

Das Haus hat eine wunderbare, ruhige Lage direkt am Deich. Optimal für alle, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen. Sehr schön eingerichtet. Alles da, was man braucht. Check-in und Check-out sehr gut abzuwickeln. WLAN-Empfang auch gut. Sehr nette Vermieter mit gutem Kontakt.

Leider sehr enttäuschend

Bei der Ankunft war die Vorfreude sehr groß und der erste Eindruck war recht positiv, was sich jedoch schnell änderte. Negatives: reichlich Spinnweben in jedem Zimmer 40-50 cm Einstieg in die Dusche ist zu klein im ganzen Haus Feuchtigkeit, Kleidung war klamm die Heizungen funktionierten nicht wie sie sollten nicht funktionsfähige Fernbedienung für Fernseher Fenster konnten nicht gänzlich geöffnet werden Viele kleiner Stufen in den Übergängen zu anderen Räumen teilweise sehr stark durchgelegene Matratzen Kein direkter Zugang zur "Terasse", für mich ist das ein Innenhof maximal ein Freisitz, aber keine Terasse. Keine Einzäunung, für Kleinkinder und Hunde gar nicht geeignet, da direkt vor dem Haus die Straße liegt, wo Autos mit 50 vorbeifahren Überfüllter Mülleimer schon bei Ankunft Direkt am Deich, aber kilometerweit ohne Zugang zum Wasser, wegen Salzwiesen/Naturschutzgebiet Positiv: abgelegen und ruhig Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche Um Probleme wurde sich umgehend gekümmert Fazit: Die Gesamtsituation war so belastend für uns, dass wir die 14 Tage schon nach 6 Tagen abbrechen mussten, weil wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt haben. Eine Rückfrage durch den Vermieter - Fehlanzeige. Geld zurück aufgrund weiterer Vermietung in dem Zeitraum, den wir eigentlich noch dort gewesen wären, ebenfalls Fehlanzeige. Eine Erstattung haben wir nicht erwartet, aber wie es ablief ist sehr enttäuschend. Unserer Meinung nach bedingt geeignet für Pärchen ohne Kinder und ohne Tiere Keine Empfehlung

Sehr zufrieden

Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Vom Haus aus war alles gut erreichbar, mit dem Rad sowie per Auto. Wer zu Fuss mobil ist, kann stundenlange Spaziergänge genießen. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, wir haben alles vorgefunden, was nötig war und zum Teil deutlich mehr. Außerdem hatten wir sehr freundliche Nachbarn, die dort leben und uns viel erzählt haben. Wer will, findet absolute Ruhe und für die anderen gibt es genügend zu erkunden. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Woche

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub im Ferienhaus "Leuchtturm". Es war alles da, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Die liebevolle Dekoration, Schaukel und Sandkasten hat unserer Enkelin (4 Jahre) sehr gut gefallen. Die erste Woche war es wettermäßig leider etwas kühl, das Haus war trotzdem angenehm warm.

Toller Urlaub im gemütlichen Ferienhaus

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem hübschen Ferienhaus. Es war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich als wir ankamen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Hundefreundlichkeit (Napf, Leckerchen, Hundedecke). Die Schlüsselübergabe lief komplikationslos über einen Schlüsselsafe. Die Verwalterin hat zwischendurch die Mülltonnen rausgestellt und war sehr nett und freundlich, als wir sie vor dem Haus trafen. Die Küche war super ausgestattet mit Backofen, Spülmaschine, Ceranfeld und vielen Küchenutensilien. Selbst ein Mixer war vorhanden. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und auch in den Schlafzimmern war viel Platz und Stauraum. Das einzige Manko an dem gemütlichen Haus ist die Heizung im Bad. Dort kann man nur mit einer Art Heizlüfter heizen und somit ist es dort relativ kalt bei kalten Außentemperaturen. Auch der Flur ist nicht beheizt, aber wenn man die Türen zuhält, ist das kein Problem. Den tollen Garten konnten wir leider kaum nutzen aufgrund des schlechten Wetters. Auch dort gab es im Schuppen genügend Gartenstühle etc. Für die Kinder ist eine Schaukel und ein Sandkasten vorhanden. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön direkt am Deich. Allerdings kommt man nicht ans Meer, da zwischen Deich und Meer eine Ausgleichsfläche zum Naturschutz liegt, die man nicht betreten darf. Aber bis ins nächste Dorf und auch zum Strand und Hundestrand ist es nicht weit (ca.2km) und es führt ein schöner Weg direkt am Deich entlang. Wir hatten insgesamt eine tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Leider im Winter

Das Haus Leuchtturm ist ein schönes Ferienhaus, das für Hundebesitzer perfekt gelegen ist. Direkt hinter dem Deich und mit viel Auslauf rund herum. Leider waren wir im Winter dort. Die Heizung ist bei der letzten Renovierung nicht getauscht worden. Die besteht aus Stromspeicheröfen in den Zimmern (schwer zu steuern), und lediglich einem Heizlüfter Im Badezimmer (der laut Aufschrift nur 15 Min. am Stück laufen darf). Dies schafft keinerlei Wärme ins Bad. Fazit: Das Haus ist auf jedem Fall zu empfehlen, nur leider nicht, wenn es dauße kalt ist.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Auf dem ersten Blick ein echt schönes Ferienhaus zum wohlfühlen 👍.in dem man herzlich mit einem Gastgeschenk, auch für den Hund ,emfangen wird. Leider müssen wir sagen , daß man der Reinigungskraft einmal auf die Finger schauen sollte ( runde Ecken, fleckige Tischdecke, der Ofen voller Finger der Vormieter und im Bad sollte man die Schallen unter dem Absperrventil öfter mahl austauschen. Aber leider muss ich sagen das größte Manko sind die Nachtspeicher die sich nicht ausschalten lassen .Bei einer Außentemperatur von +/- 23 *C überflüssig und nachts brauche ich kein beheiztes Schlafzimmer. Wie gesagt: Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus aber man sollte ab und zu auch einmal was verändern.

Ein schöner Urlaub

Super ausgestattete Wohnung, wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Direkt hinter dem Deich Wiese und kein Strand, nächster wunderschöner Strand aber ganz in der Nähe, also kein Problem. Die Ferienwohnung zählt jetzt zu unseren Favoriten.
