"We stayed at Cottonwood Lodge for two nights during our Snowy Mountains weekend trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. It’s only about a 30-minute drive to Jindabyne and around 60 minutes to the ski resorts, making it a perfect base for a snow trip. The room was very cozy and comfortable, and having a BBQ available to use was a great bonus. The bathroom was clean and had a heater, which was especially appreciated in the cold weather. The owners are also very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it felt like staying in a comfortable hotel in the city. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to Cottonwood Lodge on our next snow trip! Highly recommended! 🏔️❄️"

"Great property with wonderful host. An absolute no-brainer property. Beautiful and rare decor and scenery, wood fire and everything type of animal can be seen.Minor challenge: Wifi needs a booster/new system. It didn’t work. Alternatively, the Telstra coverage is only 1 bar but bare minimum internet is possible. Regardless, it’s a 10/10 property."

"This is a fabulous big property that is great for travelling with dogs. A fenced area allows safe free ranging and the slate floors are easy to keep clean. Fascinating architecture and very well equipped kitchen. Electric blankets and aircon in the bedroom are a great feature. The quietest place in the world and spectacular sunrises. Good proximity to town but incredible privacy. Be aware that the road is pretty rough gravel and not really suitable for a two wheel drive vehicle."
