"Everyone at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. As a foreigner, it's very inconvenient to book tickets for the National forest without a Chinese phone number. The hotel owner took care of everything and also helped us build an itinerary. This was crucial as the ones you find online are very confusing. And because she actually hikes in the park frequently, she can customize it to your needs and the weather. The views you get from the hotel is also exceptional."

"James, the host, is incredibly kind and friendly. He helped me a great deal during my trip. I enjoyed free tea and coffee provided by him. He dropped me off at the east gate, purchased scenic tickets for me, and planned out my whole itinerary. Thanks to him, my trip to Zhangjiajie was extremely relaxing. "I had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. A special thanks to the boss lady and the lovely front desk girl who greeted me every morning with such warmth and sunshine-like positivity. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and the breakfast was very good. Everything felt organized and comfortable. The only issue was that the room I received looked nothing like the one shown in the booking photos. The advertised images featured a luxury suite with a large window, mountain views, and a spacious layout. The actual room was considerably smaller, located on the ground floor, and had no view whatsoever. I understand that photos can sometimes differ, but the difference was significant enough to be disappointing. Despite that, the wonderful staff and overall quality of the property made for a good experience."

"The hotel is located seconds away from the 张家界 national park entrance, which is essential for our travel, not only we were able to beat the early morning crowd, but we were also able to enjoy the town when all the tourists have left the area. The hotel is also just minutes away from the busy street that's filled with restaurants. The staff were very helpful and the amenities were awesome, free laundry service was included with our room. 10/10 experience."

"Don’t let the lack of reviews put you off booking this property, it’s perfect for a stay in Zhangjiajie. Before our visit, Sunny had been in touch and had helped us to plan our activities. We were picked up from the airport, then Sunny met us to talk through what we had booked, which was a great help. All the staff are friendly and helpful, they can’t be faulted. Our rooms were great, and the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the East gate of the park. After a busy day, we returned to be given a full afternoon tea, which was delicious. There is a free laundry which is very useful I really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel ☺️"

"This was a magical place to spend a few days. The room was superb and perfect for our needs and the location was idyllic high in the mountains. What made this stand out though was the superb Concierge who organised and booked all of our visits to the many attractions of the area. Transport, timings and tickets were all taken care of. It was like having your own travel agency. She was brilliant. Breakfast was fine but the restaurant was excellent and really good value. For a first time visitor to China it was a wonderful location."
