"This was a completely random find by us. These villas are part of a cooking school, but we were just there for the room. This was the most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at. It was beautiful, stunning architecture, beautifully furnished, it had an amazing complete designer kitchen which we didn't use, but which would be handy for longer stays, and it was not all that expensive. The nearby town had cute restaurants etc. Even though it's not quite in Adelaide, it's close enough, and well worth the very short drive. I would go back next time I'm in Adelaide area. I'd give it a 10/10. "

"This is beautiful old style property is great history. The food is exceptional and the staff are friendliest you will find. They all seem to take great pride work at this special place. We spent two night had high tea, a massage at the spa and some really delicious food as well as the house tour. Everything was so well done with such caring people."

"We had an absolutely delightful stay at Sophie’s Cottage celebrating our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. Julie and John have created an idyllic, cosy and peaceful sanctuary set amongst the picturesque Adelaide Hills. A gorgeous, historic stone cottage equipped with everything needed for a home away from home escape. Lots of homey little touches adding to the county ambiance.
