"I liked that it was was kind of hidden away and still fairly close to places i needed to go. All the rooms were outside access only and the office was detached, which i hadn't realized prior to arriving. That meant if you wanted to go have breakfast, enjoy the bar or restaurant, or wanted to speak to staff in person you had to walk outdoors. The property itself needs some updating. The room was clean, stairway and entrance needs more attention. The TV did not work and the room is smaller than it looks in pictures. I found one plug-in to use for charging my phone and laptop. I was aware that this was a 2-star when I booked it and did not expect anything glamorous. I booked 2 nights and left in the middle of my second night. Not a horrible place if all you need is a bed to sleep in."
"Nice gal at check in.
Room was cheap, simple and outdated. Bed was “springy.”
No frills room. Just needed a place to sleep on our journey. Price was right.
Free parking."
"Unfortunately I experienced some substantial bug bites while staying at this hotel. Management has shared with me that the entire 3rd floor will be receiving treatment for bugs. When I returned home the bites continued and my significant other also then experienced them. It was a most unfortunate experience and management did what they could to make it right (that is the good news). I have stayed at the MainStay Hotel and Suites near St. Louis MO and that experience was wonderful."

8/10 Good
"Draea was very helpful both with questions at the front desk at check in and the next morning in the breakfast room.
Room was clean and nice. Our room was conveniently located on the first floor by the pool. The pool, hot tub, and seating area with games was great!
We didn't realize when booking that wrist bands were needed for each person to access the seating area as well as the pool etc. We had planned for some family members to join us for lunch at the hotel, but were informed that they would need wristbands to sit at the tables in the atrium with us and only guests with rooms at the hotel can get wrist bands. No outside wrist band sales. This was a disappointment and something to be aware of when booking as it could alter your plans for your stay. Otherwise, the hotel and amenities, cleanliness, and helpful staff were great!"
