"I was pleased with the apartment. My only concern was that I was not made aware that the apartment was up six flights of stairs (3 floors) and there was no elevator. As an elderly gentleman of nearly 80 years old it was no easy task lifting by suitcases up the stairs or bringing them down. Can I please urge you to always make it clear, especially to older guests, of the burden the upper floors create - and I recommend housing them on the lower levels. Thank you for your consideration."

"Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Ein tolles, sauberes Häuschen in einer wunderbaren ruhigen Umgebung. Wir konnten uns richtig erholen und waren sehr traurig, als unser Urlaub zu Ende war. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war total angenehm und sehr nett. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen :)"

"This hotel gets very mixed reviews, which seem to me to reflect guests' differing expectations. The good points. The people who run it are incredibly nice and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are a bit tired and old, but nobody should be surprised by that. They are spotlessly clean, very quiet, and surprisingly cool during the heatwave in June 2026. The hotel is very convenient for the Goethe Theatre. The not so good points. You have to phone them to unlock the door and check you in if you arrive in the evening, which isn't ideal. My (foreign) mobile phone had trouble getting a signal, but turn it off and on again and all was fine. And someone arrived within five minutes. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and no iron. I didn't need to ask for any of these and I don't know whether they would be available if anyone asked for them. All the negative comments about the car park are true. It is incredibly tight for modern cars. Even a normal sized car, like a VW Golf, can get blocked in if someone with another normal size car parks next to it. You certainly couldn't get anything much bigger in there. I would certainly stay here again if I return to the theatre at Bad Lauchstadt, but I'd also make sure that I parked the car somewhere else and walked to the hotel."

"Good hotel in a fantastic location. Easy access to all areas of central Halle. Breakfast had many choices but not extensive. The staff were sometimes noticeable by their absence, particularly tardy clearing tables."

"Hotel cancelled 90 minutes before we were due to check-in, so we never actually went to the hotel. It looks really good from the pictures & Robert from the reception was really nice during our email correspondence. I hope to visit some time in the future."
