In a characteristic Frisian farmhouse from 1860, within walking distance of the historic centre of Workum, you will find Aldehoeve-logies. The farm is located in a quiet residential area, on a large, park-like plot, only a 5-minute walk from the old city centre of Workum with terraces and various restaurants and a 7-minute drive from the IJsselmeer. A walk through the old centre with its historic buildings, nice shops and unique Jopie Huisman museum is an attraction in itself.
But the nature around the eleven-city town of Workum is also definitely worth it. There are plenty of (water-) sports options, you can cycle or walk along the Frisian IJsselmeer coast, or go out to explore the small villages in the area.

Three spacious apartments have been created in the farm: Apartments Ien, Twa and Trije, or one, two and three. The apartments are all situated in the former cow sheds, at the back of the farm. The front house of the farm is the private residence of the owner family.

Apartments Twa and Trije are almost identical in size and design.
Both apartments have their own entrance at the rear of the farm. With two bedrooms on the 1st floor and a cozy living room downstairs, this apartment is ideal for 2 to 4 people. There is a small terrace at the apartment where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea in the afternoon sun when the weather is nice.

(NB: people who have difficulty walking should take into account that the floor where the bedrooms are located does not have a toilet. The toilet is located in the bathroom on the ground floor. The rear bedroom has no windows to the outside )
