Waterfront Getaway with Dock
Bicyclist's and outdoorsman's dream! Neat little rancher on two waterfront acres just 4 miles from Blackwater Wildlife Refuge and Harriet Tubman National Park. 10 minute drive from downtown, the Hyatt, and the Ironman starting point as well. Ironman and Eagleman races actually pass right by! Bright, sunny, and newly renovated, it's a great place to hang your hat after a day of hunting, fishing, bicycling, or triatholon-ing! Or just take a weekend to relax on the water!
The space House is located right on route 16- one of the most popular bicycle routes on the Shore! There is a general store just a half mile away, and a great waterfront bar/restaurant down the road as well (Palm Beach Willie's and Maryland Blue). Just 10 minutes from downtown Cambridge, you're also close enough to enjoy RAR Brewing without a hassle. If you have a wedding at the Hyatt, it's a 7 minute straight shot- you literally don't have to turn!
Enjoy a drink on the dock after a day of biking or kayaking. Lounge by the fire pit in the evening or enjoy the propane fire pit on the pier.
Hunters- feel free to use the bow targets in the yard. Plenty of room to park a boat as well.
Fishermen- catch a snakehead right out the back door! Plus the minnow trap is available and can provide a steady supply of bait.
Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house. We have three kayaks and a canoe which guests can enjoy upon signing a release. There is a hammock set up right on the water, as well as an outdoor picnic table with lights strung overhead. There are also bow targets, pull crab traps and a minnow trap for guests use on property.
Other things to note There is a chicken coop with chickens on the property but no rooster. Feel free to enjoy some eggs from the chickens or produce from the garden.

Very nice house it was very clean we enjoyed the dock over the water very nice getaway i would recommend it to anyone we enjoyed staying there the owner was very nice and helpful
Trevor's house was perfect! Clean, comfortable and spacious with books, games, kayaks and canoes and a well-appointed dock. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Having friends in the area and staying at other vrbos this was a great find, location and accommodation in comparison with other listings. Did not disappoint!
Absolutely great place, beautiful decorated house with a lot of space, very well equipped kitchen, modern washing maschine and dryer. Great site with outside table and hammock. Access to water and canoes: great for bird watching. And there are chicken, you may eat the eggs. It was the best place we stayed at for our roadtrip, the kids absolutely loved it there.
We loved the proterty! House was set up with pleanty of room for 4 of us. It was clean and comfortable. Out back was very private. Would definitely stay here again. We had a blast!
Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. When we arrived, we were greeted by a heron on the dock. The location on the water is great, and we took advantage of the kayaks and canoe. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. And having fresh eggs was a perk!
We were very happy with the property and while our dates were "off season" for most folks, it was a great place to come back to after exhibiting all day at the Waterfowl Festival in Easton. The house was larger than we needed, but it was quiet and worked well for the two of us as well as the dogs. We would definitely book here again.
With the place allowing pets, definitely the cleanest house we’ve ever stayed at! You don’t need anything but clothes and your fury friend! They offer everything! Great food at Woolford Country Store and not even a mile down the road! We rarely left the house, very peaceful and relaxing!!
Clean and convenient location.
Everyone had something to do. From crabbing, fishing, and feeding the chickens.
Best relaxing vacation. Thanks for the wonderful small touches like at night with string of lights to light up yard and fresh eggs in morning.
Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you.
This property was even better than the photos suggest. Private and serene. The kayakers enjoyed the open water. The non-kayakers enjoyed reading and enjoying nature from the Adirondack chairs on the dock. We also enjoyed the porch. The house was clean and modern inside. The fact that there was no ensuite worked best--both bathrooms were accessible to the six of us.
A well taken care of property. House was comfortable for the three of us. Almost a dozen fresh eggs during our time there.
Firepit, dock, kayak and canoe, crab traps.
Bald eagles, ospreys, great blue herons.
A great place to trr wet jac or be active.
A perfect escape from city living! Clean property, easy to access kayaks and canoe for wonderful paddling right from the dock and a great fire pit in the yard. So peaceful. The bathrooms were clean and inviting after a day on the water. The kitchen had everything needed to help enjoy a cooked meal of fresh veggies from nearby Emily’s Produce (BIG recommendation!). Thank you
Three of us stayed overnight on a girl's weekend visit to Blackwater. This property is beautiful! Sunrise over the water was amazing. The house was spotless, stocked with everything you need right down to shower products. The furniture is very comfortable, beds are as well. We didn't get to use the screened porch as it was too chilly, but it will be great in warmer weather. The chickens had a lot to say in the morning, so I felt obligated to stop and visit for a bit. Will definitely stay here again.
Every morning I made coffee, lit the fire pit on the dock and spent at least from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 after. Used Merlin to identify bird calls. Heard and saw bald eagles, a belted kingfisher and an eastern bluebird. Watched a great blue heron fishing. Heard many many different birds.
Truly an awesome location to slow down and enjoy the moment
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Excellent choice for those looking for a hunting friendly place (the boys could get in their archery practice in the yard & we all could appreciate the decor around the house)! It was a plus for our young baby having the crib and rocking chair available. The rooms and kitchen were spacious. I wish we were able to spend more time outside the house to enjoy the beautiful property with the hammock & dock area. Our daughter especially loved visiting the chickens every morning. Trevor was very prompt in communicating. Looking forward to another future visit!
