"Lovely, clean property in a great location. Everything as expected and house nice and warm. Only note, instructions say the key is at the back of the house where the parking is but the parking and the key holder is clearly at the front of the house - not sure how a simple instruction like this can be wrongly noted. Other than this, everything great and would recommend property."

"Lovely studio accommodation, perfect for the two of us and our dog, just what we needed for a 4 night stay, bright and airy and lovely garden for our dog to stretch her legs. Fabulous location to explore the villages near and further away and just a 15 minute walk to Warkworth beach. There were so many places to eat but our favourites were The Fish Shack and Spurelli's ice cream parlour in Amble, The Landing cafe in Beadnell, and the Masons Arms in Warkworth was good for pub food and...

"We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future."

"Very clean. Lovely cottage. However if you are elderly or unsteady on your feet it may not be suitable as bedrooms are upstairs and toilet facilities are downstairs "

"A beautiful property that was perfect for our needs. There were five adults and four children in our group and it catered, and was accessible, for all. Supermarkets are close, the views are fantastic, and the house itself was clean and tidy. We had to switch the timer off on the heating as it was very cold with it on but the house warmed up very quickly and it was really warm after a while. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone."

"Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended."

"Great faculties and location is perfect - in a small quiet street across the road from nice sandy beach. Co-op is just across the street and few local take aways and cafes. Just perfectly placed. "We have stayed at St Cuthberts Retreat a number of times now. The property is clean, well-appointed and we like the location, which is close to The Cheviots for hiking, has great golf in the area (The Roxburghe, Goswick, Linden Hall for example) and lots of interesting places to visit. In fact we always come away wishing we had more time there! Thoroughly recommended - we certainly intend to return."
