We thoroughly enjoyed staying here: clean, cozy, and so quiet! You can walk to town easliy, and it’s just beautiful crossing the river and strolling by the historical stately homes.
This was a great spot, super quiet and relaxing and an incredibly convenient location to enjoy downtown Woodstock as well as the Marsh-Billings Rockefeller Park and Billings Farm. The apartment was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the backyard was amazing. Will definitely stay here again!
This charming carriage house is right on the river but so so quiet! We love the walkable location close to downtown and the proximity to all the trails. Perfect for a couples' getaway!
Perfect place to stay for a couple looking to explore all that Woodstock downtown area has to offer. Was able to walk easily to downtown, Billings Farm, and Rockefeller National Park trails.
It was great staying in Woodstock and enjoying a winter weekend. The carriage house is in a great location with easy access to the town and surrounding area.
The property was even cuter in person - the pics don't do it justice! Location was perfect for walking to town, hiking, and the farm. Comfortable and all we needed for a girls weekend. Definitely recommend!
The property was exactly as listed. Location was great, situated very close to downtown, the national park mansion, and the farm. The apartment was very light, clean and organized. The kitchen was well stocked. There was some construction at the property next door that started early, but that is not necessarily something that could have been controlled and was a short term situation. I would recommend this property.
This carriage house is the perfect mixture of quiet and private yet close to everything! Truly the location can’t be beat. As mentioned in several other reviews, this cozy carriage house is within walking distance of downtown and several walking trails. Home is well appointed and views from every window this fall were stunning! We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
Charming, well equipped cottage walking distance to town. Host Rachel is easily accessible, friendly, helpful
and accommodating. I would recommend
this cottage to friends and family and definitely stay again when returning to the area.
Such a beautiful spot! Close to town, quiet and lovely surroundings. The unit is comfortable and well appointed. Comfy bed! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home!
We had a wonderful stay. The host was very responsive to an initial concern we had upon arriving. The property is an easy walk to several shops and restaurants and hiking in a national park and a working farm is very close by. The location is quiet and the scenery is lovely. We would definitely return.
Adorable cottage overlooking the river in the most ideal location!! Walkable to downtown Woodstock, next door to Billings Farm and across the street from Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller Estate/beautiful trails!! Loved it!!
We stayed here for a wedding and it was the perfect location. Easy walk to everything downtown. It slept 4 adults, bed in the master and a large comfortable pull out couch. The owner was especially quick with responding to messages during our stay. Highly recommend!!
This unit is located on the second floor of an old carriage house. Great location, butting up against the Billiings Farm Museum, surrounded by two very old and nice homes, and not far from downtown Woodstock. Easy communication with the owner and manager. Very quiet area! Only problem was there is no tv. Be sure to bring your laptop or some books!
It was wonderfully located. Everything provided for a 6 night stay. We would happily book it again.
The only downside was we could not connect with the property manager. We just gave up calling!
Had everything I needed in the kitchen. Property was in a great location for town and exploring. Had health problems while there that didn’t allow me to take the full benefit of what there was to offer, but it was a great place to hole up. Only thing I wished for was a more robust Wi-Fi, as the Verizon cell service was intermittent and the Wi-Fi wasn’t picking up the slack. This became a problem when I had a medical emergency and had to leave early. In fairness, I did not try to reach the property manager til I was leaving and wanted to let them know I was checking out early. Didn’t hear back from them then, though.
This property was not secluded, per se, but it felt like it! Properties on both sides were vacant, our stay was quite private and very quiet. Of course it was mid-October, and mid-week, so less people in Woostock in general which is what we expected/wanted. Enjoyed walking from the property to the downtown area of Woodstock. Just a half mile each way, easy even for us at age 72. Propery had all the "supplies of home" and more so in the bathroom. A very nice experience.
