Wonderful country retreat
Fabulous country estate and beautifully appointed country home. Spacious bedrooms and living areas . All the modern comforts you would need. Beautifully maintained grounds and even a replica of the famous TPC Sawgrass 17th hole. We would love to stay again and highly recommend Woodlands for a luxury Sourhetn Highlands retreat.

Just stunning
We absolutely loved staying at the beautiful property. The house was stunning. Comfortable lounges and beds, well equipped kitchen. The sunroom was a stunning place to enjoy Easter lunch. The family made great use of the golf green and we enjoyed walking around seeing the horses. It was close to pop over to Bowral, Berrima, Mittagong for supplies and a browse through shops. After five nights we all felt really well rested and relaxed. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough!

Perfect Getaway
Perfect place for a getaway with friends. The golf green was a big hit. Beautiful property, lovely bedrooms, all with ensuite, so no need to toss a coin to see who gets the 'good' bedroom. Great location, close to wineries and restaurants.

Beautiful, peaceful property in an excellent location!
The layout of the house enabled my family to come together while ensuring we all had our own space as each room had its own amenities as well as a door on to the wonderful grounds. The view from each room is lovely whilst the rooms itself are very cozy! As animal lovers, we were thrilled to be surrounded by horses, a couple of dogs and chickens which provided fresh eggs each morning. Perhaps one of the highlights is the private golf green- my dad is an avid golfer so he was delighted to have access to this. Thanks Woodlands for providing a perfect place for me to reunite with my family after almost 3yrs! We hope to make this an annual trip.

The most wonderful experience
We had the most magical stay at Woodlands. The farm is located in the most beautiful countryside. The house is total luxury with all the bells and whistles and the animals are the most wonderful addition for the children. We loved it so much and are keen to book again for next year. I 100% recommend a stay at this incredible incredible property.

We had an amazing holiday in an absolutely beautiful, spacious and modern home. The property had a restful, inviting ambience that embraced our family and made us feel at home. Amazing Property
Woodlands Retreat was an amazing, beautifully presented holiday getaway for our family wedding. As we drove into the property it was set amongst rolling green hills & horses everywhere. The home had a wonderful layout & was styled exceptionally Each bedroom had an en-suite plus there were 4 separate living spaces with 3 indoor & 1 outdoor fireplace. We would definitely love to come back Along with the outdoor spaces to play games & our grand daughter also loved the chickens, dogs & horses too Thank you to the owner/manager too as his communication with him was so easy

Lovely property with beautiful views, but similar to an earlier review there is lots of activity going on around the place as it is a working farm. We were not interrupted but it is also not 100% private when dining outside. The house could also do with a deep clean on all surfaces (bed heads, skirting boards, cushions, etc).

Beautiful property very clean well equipped and so very quiet and gorgeous views. All rooms are really comfortable and welcoming. The sunroom is my favorite room and the fireplace a highlight. My only suggestion would be to any guests would be to take your own golf balls. Can't wait to return thank you Craig for a wonderful break.

Nearly everything was perfect. The property itself was amazing and more than lived up to expectations. Couple of little hiccups - oven trays were filthy upon arrival and we needed to scrub them before use and the owner had forgotten to pass on the access code required - but in reality both of these things were very minor and remedied easily. Would (and will) absolutely stay again. May pay to get your cleaners to double check things like then oven though. Outstanding property.

We absolutely loved this property. Every bedroom felt like a hotel room so noone missed out. The living areas are spacious, the gardens lovely and plenty of dining areas. One thing to note is that you need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner and although there is a dishbrush with detergent in it, there is no separate detergent. Loved our stay

What a property! This place is absolutely devine, so beautifully built, maintained and equipped you couldn’t ask for a better place. There is no need to leave for your whole stay. From the horses in the paddocks, the chickens and dogs, the golf green or sitting by the fire there is something for everyone to do. Being on one level too is also great for those a little less mobile

We had such a great weekend at this amazing house. Magnificent in every way. Kids had a ball playing with the dogs, collecting the chickens eggs, swimming in the lake, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and playing golf. Bedrooms are gorgeous. Would love to come back.

Best Holiday Home!
My family and I had a magnificent time staying at Woodlands House Holiday Retreat. Located not far from Bowral/Mittagong, it was an easy drive from Sydney. The house is beautifully presented and meticulously maintained. The four bedrooms each have their own ensuite so there is no chance having to fight to use the toilet. I love the attention to details, beacon torch in each room, plenty of spare toilet rolls and soap... There are so much to do on the property with many living areas to relax, to read a book, play games or watch TV. There is a private Golf Course right at the back and plenty of areas for walks. The kids love getting close up with the horses and chickens. We even collected eggs in the morning from the chicken coop for breakfast! We really had such an amazing time at Woodlands. You hear this all the time but it is true ..."The only regret is that the stay was just too short"! We highly recommend Woodlands Retreat to any families or friends looking for a 5 star property for their getaway! Thank you Craig!
