"Stayed here for stopover on the way back to the UK. We booked a superior double room with Rhine River views. Prior to check in at 2pm we parked the car in the large car park at the back and walked to the ferry (a few steps away) to Linz across the Rhine. The ferry costs 1.20 euro one way each. Linz was a very pretty 'chocolate box' town with lots of places to eat and drink. We strolled around and then returned to the hotel where we had a refreshing beer on the wonderful terrace while waiting...

"This hotel is like something out of a fantasy movie. Spectacularly beautiful, with helpful staff, gorgeous sauna, etc. The problem is that they built the doors so well (heavy) that the underlying structure of the building physically shakes everytime someone slams ANY door in the building. And as the place is always sold out, the doors will slam a lot, as the people who were sharing the hotel with me were doing ALL NIGHT. Clearly based on the reviews (wonderful) this doesnt affect other...
