The Location
This non-smoking apartment, facing east, is located on the 4th floor of the historic Krusespeicher building. Wismar’s Old Harbour, one of the most attractive spots in this cosmopolitan Hanseatic city, is right at your doorstep. This is the perfect base for exploring the city and its beautiful surroundings. By the way, the Old Harbour is an extremely popular venue for events and festivals—and it’s also the original filming location for *SOKO Wismar*, the well-known ZDF series!
The historic Old Town is only about a 10-minute walk away. Here you’ll find numerous shopping options, restaurants, and cafés, a vibrant array of leisure activities and nightlife, as well as sights and day-trip destinations. The city on the Baltic Sea and its events—such as the Swedish Festivals or the Harbour Days—attract over 500.000 visitors each year. The island of Poel is ideal for long walks on the beach. Here, you can stroll along the coast for hours in any weather and let the wind blow through your hair.

The bright apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom, underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped open kitchen with a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a stove with 4 glass-ceramic burners and an oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, and an immersion blender. The combined living and dining area features a double sofa bed (1.40 x 2.00 m), a flat-screen TV (42 inches), a stereo system, and board games. Enjoy relaxing moments on the balcony overlooking the harbour. The bedroom features a comfortable double box-spring bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a flat-screen TV (42 inches). The tastefully decorated bathroom features a walk-in rain shower, a sink, a toilet, a towel warmer, and a hair dryer. The apartment has a safe large enough for a laptop up to approximately 17 inches. Pets are welcome in this apartment.

Our team warmly welcomes you at the Krusespeicher reception desk and is happy to assist you with any questions during your stay. The Krusespeicher features a free sauna area spread over two levels; you’ll have access to two Finnish saunas, a bio sauna, and a relaxation room
. In the basement of the apartment complex, you’ll find a washing machine and dryer, as well as lockable storage for your bicycles. A public car park and a public car park (both for a fee) are located in the immediate vicinity.

In addition, a bread roll delivery service is available for a fee—simply place your order at the front desk and pick it up the next morning in the Krusespeicher’s Living Room. There you’ll also find vending machines offering speciality coffees, breakfast items, and snacks.

The linens package per person per stay is included for you! It includes one hand towel, one bath towel, bed linens, and one shower mat per bathroom. Upon request, our on-site team will also be happy to provide additional sets of bed linens and hand towels for a fee.

Inside the Krusespeicher itself, you’ll find the “Chocohelden” chocolate shop with a café area and outdoor terrace—a paradise for lovers of fine pralines, hot chocolate, and sweet treats. For those with a hearty appetite, there’s also the new Speicherladen, offering deli items, regional specialities, tarte flambée, Kaiserschmarrn, and drinks—all homemade with local ingredients. The nearby Ohlerich Speicher houses an Italian restaurant with a sun terrace, and just a few steps further, TV chef Steffen Henssler runs one of his popular “Ahoi” restaurants, serving maritime cuisine in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.
