The staff truly stood out—everyone was great. We enjoyed the amenities and found them fun. The room could use some updating, and an additional lock would help with peace of mind.

Great stay with our 3 kids. They loved the indoor water park.
The room was in okay condition. The bunk bed was a big hit and was very sturdy. The towels were very rough-feeling, though.
Also hard to remedy but we could hear everything in the rooms around us which was a challenge when putting a young one to bed before the official quiet hours. Luckily everyone quieted down by quiet hours, but it is just a loud building (#10).
Room was nice it's alittle different because you assume you're staying in the hotel with the water park but instead staying down the street in a motel. But it was nice clean.

We enjoyed the pool but the hotel we had someone up from us did nothing but nose
My wife two small and myself stayed for one night. Kids wanted to swim so we figured get a room and have a nice day out of the house. We arrived to our room at 9pm after using waterpark which was overpacked, extremely cold water and huge lines for hot tub. Turned on heat which is 2ft from bunk beds are it is extremely loud! Maintenance guy comes and turns it up to 79 so it doesnt have a chance to turn off when at temp set. I call a second time and asked for a different room and was told maintenance guy can come again which I refused being after 10pm with small kids who should be sleeping. Was told I cannot have a refund so we left for home at 12am. Unbelievable stay. Will not be returning.

Room was decent. Tv was super small. We had 2 bedroom it was a great price. No coffee maker in room. Nice to walk to dinner and entertainment. Waterpark was nice but I didn’t realize we had to drive to get to it. Overall good place for the money.

Indoor water park was great. Very enjoyable. Room could have been stocked better. We had only half a roll of toilet paper when we got there and no Kleenex.
We got a cheap price for a room at Hotel Rome. Rooms are outdated but okay for a night stay. Indoor water park is okay. Only 3 slides - tube slide, body slide, rotating slide. Water was not warm enough for a swim at the pool. Stayed mostly at the hot tub (1 was for adults only and the other one for both kids and adults). Indoor theme park was good. Enjoyed the bumper cars, pool soccer, mini golf and the rides. A lot of arcade games. Wished they have a covered walkway from the indoor pool to the indoor theme park especially on a freezing day. It’s good that the wristbands are used as room keys which is very convenient.
Very dated buildings but rooms were clean and relatively updated. We felt safe and the area was quiet. Towels were thin and one room had none so we used our own towels which worked OK.
I liked knowing that rain or shine, we were going to have fun. I didn't like having to drive from room to water/theme parks. Shuttle would be nice.

The room temperature was cold, the furnace did not keep the room warm enough. We asked for blankets and got more bed sheets instead. I would have brought my blankets if I knew the hotel has no blankets/comforters. No coffee maker in the rooms. Barely a shampoo and conditioner mini bottle for 4 people and a mini soap for all. No indoor pool in the hotel, I guess since it comes with a water park entrance you have to drive to. The water park was overall nice but the water is cold and the place overall is cold. There’s only 1 stand for pool towels on the opposite side of where we were so we had to take trips back and forward many times through the day.

Front desk staff were super nice and helpful. The outdoor water parks had tons of fun activities, and my kids could honestly spend the whole day there and never get bored.
Downside was the hotel room (Rome) — the lobby always had a weird smell, and the room was humid, dusty, and not very clean.
Still gave it 4 stars because the check-in staff were great and the water parks made up for it.

Was taken by surprise that our hotel room was not located in the same building as the water park. Very deceiving with booking. Especially if you aren’t familiar with the Dells. We were able to get a room in the building with the water park for a fee. It is a confusing property and experience but overall we had a good time for the price. No coffee maker in the room. Just another way to get you to spend more money. Definitely a tourist trap but if you like that sort of thing you won’t think anything of it. My boys enjoyed it but you do run out of things to do at the water park after a few hours if your kids are 12 and older. Need some basketball hoops in the pool. They wouldn’t let us play with a small water ball so the boys got bored in the pool pretty quickly. Medusa was fun. That made it decent over all.
We were here during the off season, so it was not very busy. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The hotel and indoor water park were clean. The hours of operation for the indoor water park & theme park were not clearly posted. The indoor theme park closed so early, we weren't able to use all of our game credits there. The bunk beds in the room have very thin, uncomfortable mattresses. The room was very spacious, but did not have enough places for everyone to sit. Google did not have the correct hours of operation for some of the local businesses. There are so many things to do in the area!
