We stayed one night in a room with a leak in the AC so it dripped ALL NIGHT , mold behind the door an a stink. We had two people up to look to try to get the AC going , the first guy shut it off and said don't turn it on because it will leak water, the second said turn it on because it was so hot but said it will just leak. This was 100% and issue they were well aware of long before we arrived. The carpet was soaked just inside the door so you had to walk over it to get to the bathroom, the room was hot and smelled terrible. Zero /10 . I said I wanted a different room, some of my money back or comp the meal (the restaurant was over 100 Euro the night before and when I asked for a vegetarian pizza they said they couldn't do it as the pizza were all frozen and so you could not alter them). We got nothing but a dripping all night , a soaked carpet and all for the tune nearly 500CAD. We have been to 14 countries and this was the worst place I have ever stayed. DO NOT get the family room unless you checked out this is repaired and cleaned properly. I do not give such a terrible review lightly. Most of the time its a "sh*t happens " attitude I have but this was beyond bad.

The room was clean. The location was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was a nice variety. All in all a nice place to stay for a few days.

Nice location close to the center of the city. Front desk staff is very professional and helpful. Property is well managed and kept.

Hotel Gutenberg is located very near the Notre Dame de Strasbourg and in the heart of the main shopping & restaurants. Very convenient. We enjoyed the quaint feel each time we walked into the lobby. The staff were helpful with locating businesses and/or restaurants. We highly recommend and would stay again!
