Sunflower Resort Deluxe Aster Home is a private, modern, 1,200 sq ft ground-floor (duplex) home with separate entrance, 2 bedrooms (King/King), 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, washer/dryer, air conditioning, EV charging, private patio, and organic avocado beds. Pet-friendly (fee required) and child-friendly, it sits on a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by open fields with no road noise, just a 10-minute walk to Winthrop’s Western-themed downtown and directly on the ski and bike trail near parks and the hockey rink. Aster Home is one of seven fully furnished homes at Sunflower Resort, which can host up to 37 guests for events. On-site spa services include massage, yoga, facials, acupuncture, IV therapy, hyperbaric treatments, infrared sauna, meditation, and more. Complimentary “beater” mountain bikes are provided, with easy access to year-round Methow Valley activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, rafting, climbing, and horseback riding. Quiet hours 9 pm–7 am, no smoking, no unregistered overnight guests, up to 2 dogs allowed; longer stays available by inquiry.
Sunflower Resort House Rules
-Take care of the house keys. The key replacement fee is $15.00.
-Park only in the two-car carport of your reserved home. No boats, campers or trailers are allowed without prior permission.
-Respect quiet time between 9 pm and 7 am.
-No unregistered guests are allowed overnight. During warm weather, there is a shared outdoor space that can be reserved for small gatherings. No larger parties or events are allowed unless you are reserving the entire resort and these plans are prearranged with the hosts.
-Smoking of any kind is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
-No illegal substances or firearms are allowed on the premises.
-No fires are allowed. Outdoor grill only in the designated area.
-Before departure please clean up the kitchen, do your dishes, start the dishwasher and place all used towels in the basket in the laundry room. See the copy of the manual in the rental house for more details.
-Regularly take out the trash and recycling, especially before your departure.
-Do not remove any linens or supplies from the secured storage containers or the cabinet in the laundry room; please ask if you need anything to make your stay complete and comfortable.
-Do not eat or drink in the bedrooms; stains or damage will be assessed accordingly.
-Take care of the furnishings. Do not rearrange the beds without host help, as the floors may be damaged. Guests have to pay for damages that exceed the security deposit.
-Please be conscious of synthetic fragrances and perfumes; they can be difficult to remove from linens, towels, and furniture.
-Please set the thermostat-controlled heat and A/C with attention to energy conservation and keep the doors and windows closed when heating and cooling. Keep lights to a minimum at night.
-We have replacement linens in the utility room for the next visitors. Everything is carefully counted and sorted for our efficiency. Please do not open the bins. If you need anything additional please contact us.
-Please wash your clothes with the fragrant-free detergent provided. Instructions are in the house manual and with the machine. You may dry your towels in the dryer to help reduce washing.
-Pet Fees/Agreement: We allow up to two appropriate dogs per house. 1-2 dogs = $100.00. If booking through another method, please message the hosts as soon as you have booked. You will find the pet agreement in your welcome email from the hosts and in the house manual in your rental house.
-Houses are suitable for toddlers and children. Let us know if you need to borrow child items like high chairs, play-n-pack, outlet covers, etc. There are child-friendly dishes in the house.
-Turn off unnecessary in and outdoor lights to conserve energy and the night sky. Conserve energy by making sure the windows and doors are closed when heating and cooling.
-100% Cotton Bathrobes are provided for use during your stay. There is a $10.00 rental fee. Please leave these behind when you depart.
