"Fantastic property for a long weekend. Plenty of supplies in the house for most needs. The power went out for a few hours while we were there due to storms and there were no emergency candles. Luckily we brought a few ourselves so it wasn't too bad. The cabin is in a very isolated area which is exactly what we were looking for. Really enjoyed hiking through the woods and property. The pond was nice to fish and I did manage to catch a few even though the water was murky from the storms. All in all a wonderful retreat that is quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended. "

"Everything you need for a nice quiet get a way. Enjoyed the deck along the Ohio river. We saw barges, tug boats, ducks and geese. The bed was VERY comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. Make sure you stop at the Yorkville bakery for some sweet treats. "

"Our room was clean the staff was awesome and the breakfast superb. The only problem we had is that on our last day the power went off, the hotel didn’t have a power generator and we spend all night and morning with no heater it was 33 and below and everything pitch black could see my way thru the stairs or around the room."
