"It was quiet clean convenient and comfortable. All staff was friendly. The area is nice and there’s many places to dine at in walking distance. There is also a nice quiet and peaceful park with a big lake close to the hotel. Makes for a nice walk during sunset. There is also a Publix grocery store near the park as well. Next time I need a hotel in Orlando I’ll be returning to Home2 Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown "

"I love these authentic old hotels. This place is fantastically charming. The brass key chain and real actual key for an old door is just great. Such a lovely change from key cards and Internet passwords. The floors creaked and the door had a real knob, epic. The decorations, bathroom and tile floors all seem wonderfully dated and true to how this place was 100 years ago and I love it and I just wish I coulda stayed a couple more days and had my wife with em, she woulda dug it too. The downtown area is really cool too. Loved the whole vibe. "

"I had the best piña colada, made poolside, at the rooftop pool! The Alfond is a luxury boutique hotel with small town charm in a vibrant village - Winter Park. Loved the art filled halls and bright/light rooms! (Profits go to student scholarship at Rollins College.) We stayed two quiet nights and enjoyed the Grab and Go cafe for quick coffee, cappuccino, croissants, crepes, egg sandwiches, and snacks. Never needed our car - walked to dinner and Rollins College visit. Can’t wait to stay again! "
