This exquisite condominium is located at the Iron Horse Resort, offering direct access to the slopes of the Winter Park Resort. It comprises two bedrooms and three bathrooms, accommodating a maximum of eight guests. The kitchen and dining area are adjacent to each other, featuring granite countertops, a dining table, tiled flooring, and modern appliances. A stackable washer and dryer are included. The spacious dining area can also function as a workspace, providing complimentary in-unit wireless internet. Please be aware that air conditioning is not available. An accordion door is provided to separate the living area, ensuring privacy for the use of the Queen Murphy bed. The space includes two leather couches, perfect for relaxation while watching TV or enjoying the ambiance of the gas fireplace and views of the patio. The primary bedroom is furnished with a King-sized bed, a private deck, a TV, and an additional bathroom that features a jetted tub and shower combination, along with a modern vanity. The second bedroom is equipped with two sets of bunk beds, one of which has a double bed on the lower level, a flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom. The third bathroom is located in the corridor that connects the two bedrooms. The open lot accommodates parking for a single vehicle. Additional vehicles may be parked in the resort lots for a fee or at no cost in the downtown Winter Park parking garage. It is important to note that the Iron Horse property is situated along the skier's corridor connecting Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park. It is mandatory for all guests to prominently display the parking pass issued by the unit in their vehicle to avoid the risk of towing; this regulation is rigorously enforced on the premises. NOTICE: The Iron Horse property is designated as a non-smoking area; smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises. Violators of this policy will incur fines. Guests are not allowed to smoke or bring pets onto the property as per the rules of the Homeowner Association. The location was great, easy walk down to ski base from condo. Parking is 40 dollars a day at base, so this saves on parking cost. The condo was clean and well stocked with what we needed. They could update with new bedding and pillows to make a bit more comfortable when sleeping. Good location to hot tub on property! Highly recommend Ski Butler for rentals, drop off and pick up at the door.
We had a great stay in Winter Park. Loved the location and the ski in/out was perfect. We didn't realize the first day you could use the pedestrian bridge on level 5 to get to The Corridor... so be sure to check everything out. The property itself was functional but a few frustrations. The lighting was not good and we couldn't find switches to some of the main lights. Most frustrating was that we couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace! Contacted the property manager but they didn't know either and didn't find out. We were able to check-in a little early, which was great, and that communication with property mgmt was excellent. All in all a great stay, would recommend Iron Horse properties.
Our family had a wonderful time while staying here! A map showing how to get to the ski in/ski out part of the neighborhood would have been helpful. But otherwise, this was a wonderful place for our vacation.
