Second Time Staying!
This was our second year staying here and we loved it again! Such a perfect place for our annual sibling get together with our children. The swing set, toys, and walk in beach area were great for our young children. A great rental that we have loved coming to!

Young family oasis
This was a wonderful place for our family (Highchair/ pack n play). Laundry on site is convenient. Beach area was clean and good amount without weeds. Water is clear/ dark amber color. Shallow enough for my 4 yr old to be head above water off the end of the pier. Coarse/Rough sand. S barber is a small lake but peaceful. 6-8 ft deep max, so we had to be very careful tubing, avoiding the edges. Barber lake, where the boat launch is and connected by a small channel, was bigger and much deeper. The hosts were quick, polite, and attentive. My only (mild) criticism is I prefer when linens are professionally laundered, not by renters for the next guest. The living room carpet had quite a bit of dog hair on it so I had to vacuum right after we arrived. Regardless, we would absolutely stay again! The davis' have made this a place with many conveniences for their guests to relax and enjoy the lake. Thank you!

Beautiful waterfront property
We really enjoyed our stay. They had everything you could possibly need, for any type of weather. We spent a lot of time out canoeing, paddle boarding, or just reading in the sunroom. We all agree this was the perfect up north getaway. Thank you again!

Beautiful place
Not one hitch in entire stay. Great beds, comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen, game room awesome, best spot in the house is the screened porch looking at the lake. The beach was perfect area for dogs and 18 month old babies to play. So many water toys and board games and yard games. Close enough to town for quick drive for dinner. Loved the restaurant Patti’s on 70. Amazing beauty everywhere. Thanks for a great vaca.

Plenty of room for all of us. Very clean. We did have to shovel and snow blow to make the driveway wider since we had trucks and trailers for the snowmobiles, otherwise a great stay.

Snowmobile trip 2023
No access to snowmobile trails but that didn't bother us. The property was excellent! Clean and ready to move in for a short stay. Very nice game room in the heated garage. TV's in every room. Easy access to washer & dryer. Games available inside house. Pictures on the wall made it easy to return the property to the condition it was when we arrived. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

Beautiful Barber Lake Home
We absolutely enjoyed our weekend in Winter! The home was perfect and had everything we needed as a group of 8. The game room was our hangout and the backyard was perfect. The home is clean, comfortable and spacious inside and outside. We would definitely stay there again.

We’re sorry but we don’t advertise that we offer WI-FI. We want our guests to enjoy the lake and everything else that is provided and put down the technology and make memories. VRBO charges you the cleaning fee not us. I have to pay for additional cleaning people to come in and clean the property once your stay is over. I often wondered why they add that to your bill, but I am still required to pay additional cleaning fee as well. Sorry for the inconvenience

We had a great time staying here! Weather did not cooperate, but there were plenty of toys/games to keep both the adults and children entertained! All of the outdoor equipment and the beautiful fire pit were a huge plus!

Something for everyone!!
My husband and our kids (7, 12, and 15) enjoyed this property for a week. There is so much to do here if you don't want to leave the property! We brought our boat (boat landing is only a few minutes away) and we were able to dock it right at the house. We tubed, skiied, and fished. It's very shallow off the dock so on the super hot days we were able to put a couple of chairs in the water and relax. We spent many hours on the covered patio facing the lake. Also the fire pit area is so neat with the swings! We loved making s'mores there. It rained a bit one day so our family got to enjoy the fun in the garage. We had quite a few pool tournaments! A water lily pad was even delivered while we were staying. Chris messaged me and told us we could open it and use it so we did! She has thought of everything to make this a comfortable and fun getaway. We really enjoyed the area as the lake was so quiet. We barely saw any other boats out. This vacation was one of our favorites! We even booked again for next year! Thanks for being so amazing, Chris!

Perfect Family Getaway
The property was beautiful & spacious. I love that the location was private & not overcrowded. The kids could be out on the lake with the paddle boards & not have to worry about a ton of boat traffic. The garage was amazing- it has a pool table, darts, foosball, & air hockey! Perfect for a rain day & when everyone has had too much sun ;) Would definitely stay again!!

A Comfy Winter Stay
House was nicely kept and served us well as we stayed for the Birkie in nearby Hayward. We even skied out in the lake one day. Beds were very comfortable and rooms all have blackout curtains, so we all slept well! Well-equipped kitchen. Nice place!

Nothing but relaxing!!
We had a wonderful time at this property. The home was stocked with many basic items, plus extras (such as pasta, sauce, condiments, etc.). At first we were a little worried about the neighbor's dogs. The larger dog had a invisible fence collar, but the smaller dog did not. They both barked at us the first day, but seemed to ignore us for the rest of our stay. I mistakenly didn't realize the property didn't have wi-fi and the cell service was spotty. However, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we spent more time having fun and less time on our phones! The dishwasher was not working, but my guests were kind enough to wash the dishes after our meals. Thank you so much for an awesome vacation Christine!

Cute lake house.! Absolutely loved sitting on the back porch looking at the lake view! We had Everything we could of possibly needed. The game room was definitely a hit too. The fishing wasn't to good but if you just want a place the whole family can relax and enjoy you won't be disappointed. Now when I get home I need my husband to build me a fire pit with swings! Loved it!!

The house and shed are stocked with everything you need no reason to haul anything with you, Not great fishing but the grandsons did catch some small gills off the dock which they had a blast doing. we had great weather so we were able to try out the kayaks and paddle board. Perfect like last year
This was our second stay, everything was perfect just like last year. Kids enjoyed the peddle boat, paddle boards, we rented a pontoon and kept it right at the dock on the property. It stormed one night but kids were still entertained with all the games in the house as well as the garage full of entertainment (pool table, dart board, air hockey, etc). Garage is perfect space for adults and kids. House has everything, owners are so easy to get a hold of if you have any questions. Lucky to have stumbled across this place last year, can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Hope to return again in 2022.

My family and I had a great time at this lake house. We enjoyed fishing and tubing on the lake. There are many activities for the entire family to do during our stay. The kids lived playing pool, air hockey, darts, and foosball. The house was well maintained and clean. The kids even found several clams in the lake. A fantastic lake front property!
Very clean, extremely comfortable and the best part was the view of the lake from the covered deck! The attached game room, lake toys, private pier, fire pit and the hundreds of other small details make this a perfect place to drain the brain. Look no further!

Amazing Fall Trip
My wife and I had to make some last minute changes to our fall trip, this place was available, so we gave it a try. We are so glad that we did. Christine was so great to work with, if we needed something she was quick to respond. The place was very nice and you can tell that they are in the middle of making a lot of upgrades. Their sectional couch was so comfortable, and the king size bed in the master was even better. Made for a great few days of relaxing since it was so could while we were there. We did manage to have a couple of fires at the fire pit and took the canoe for a trip around the lake. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed. Was even able to get the smart tv hooked into my hotspot so we could watch some movies. The area was very nice too, we took a hike up at Morgan Falls and the fall colors were awesome! Only down fall to this place, and the owners have no control over this and I am sure it annoys them too. The house is backwards, it would be nice if the big picture window in the living room over looked the lake!!. But when they built the place they put the bathroom and guest bedrooms on the lake side. But after all said and done, we loved this place and would love to come back in a couple years and see all the updates that are coming!

Great Place
Great place, had everything we needed and more - dart board in garage, paddle boards, playset, corn hole game, life vests, everything you could need in kitchen (seriously just bring your own food and you won’t need anything else). TV in one of the bedrooms as well as livingroom, XBOX 360 and games. Already recommended to friends! Very quiet place.
