Great stay. Very close to everywhere in town. Huge shower and a nice amount of space. So glad to have fridge, microwave and other kitchen/dining amenities. Would stay again!

Quiet & Cozy

I was a bit nervous because of the affordability but ended up being very pleased. Very quiet neighborhood, centered right where I needed to be. The suite was clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this spot. Also I would stay again next time I come to visit

This little place was perfect for my husband & I. We were in Winston Salem meeting friends and needed a litle efficiency place for a couple of nights. Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of coffee supplied, good size refrigerator and the host was wonderful to work with. There is no stove or oven, but we weren't looking for one. Would definitely stay again!!

A really convenient and quiet place close to everything. The place is clean with great amenities, easy parking, easy chick in, easy everything. Very responsive and attentive host, who obviously takes great, great care of the property the guests.

Highly Recommended!

Great communication, everything went without a single issue. Driveway parking, private entrance, very comfortable and clean. Will stay here again when I go back to Winston-Salem, NC.

Great for the price

Nice no frills place if you need a spot to stay long-term. Comfortable bed and couch. Good and simple atmosphere. Pillows weren’t so great, but I’m kind of a pillow snob. Was much more roomy and better than staying in a hotel for sure. Convenient location, but not a neighborhood that you can really walk around in. Host was timely in her responses. I would stay here again if I needed a long-term place to stay in Winston Salem!

Cozy nook

This was a perfect place to stay for my conference. It’s about 2 miles from the Convention center and much more economical than the hotels. It has a mini fridge, keurig (with pods, creamer and sugar) and microwave. The living room is cozy and there are plenty of streaming apps available. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to sleep very well which is not always easy to do on trips. There is not really any dishware except some disposable cups so you may want to bring some or pick up some on your way in to town. It really is a perfect little spot for a weekend getaway.

Nice, spacious, inexpensive place to stay

This property is just like it is listed. You are in the basement of this home, but there is a separate entrance and easy in and out. There is a large room with a kitchenette, dining table, and living room space, as well as a bathroom and a separate bedroom. The space was clean, and Ana left a nice selection of coffee and snacks next to the microwave. It was warm at night but Ana turned the air conditioner on when I asked her to. The neighborhood was transitional, but I felt safe.

Comfortable, but a few additions would be great!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Anna’s place. The bed was comfortable, which is always a big plus.We have a few suggestions. Given there is a microwave and kitchen, it would be helpful tohave the necessary utensils for making a meal and eating. Regular cups, plates, bowls and flatware would be a great addition (vs. paper and plastic). It would be helpful to have a dish towel. A cloth bath mat is a necessity for getting out of the shower. We needed more water and did not get a reply. (Anna graciously brought 2 coffee mugs when requested). The neighborhood was convenient. We think the price points is a bit high.

Only Negatives

Inadequate electricity to run heaters & coffee pot at same time. Had to turn off heaters to make coffee - learned after we blew the breaker and had to call host. Also wished there was a toaster in place. Only other issue was the water pressure in the beautiful shower was weak but main thing was electric. Very nice place, great value for the money. Very clean and neat. She responded to our calls when we needed her. Very quiet, secure place to stay. Would stay there again

Excellent Place for Solo-Traveling Females

I was in town for a work convention, and majority of the other convention patrons stayed at the Convention Center in downtown Winston-Salem. Two nights at this location was considerably more affordable than one night at the recommended hotel. The neighborhood is quiet and was relatively pleasant to walk around, since the property is in the historic district. The shower is HUGE with great hot water pressure and temperature. The host went out of her way to respect my privacy. The room was clean, comfortable, and the couch was just as comfortable as the bed! I felt extremely safe and secure, with a private entrance to the quarters. There are multiple locks on the doors, but if you leave early in the morning or arrive at night, there is no lighting in the surrounding area. I definitely preferred these accomodations compared to a hotel. I will look for this location again when I must return to travel back to the area for training. Enjoyable stay, clean, comfortable, quiet, and quaint. Perfect for a solo traveling female!
