"Beautiful home with amazing ocean view. The house was cozy and well stocked for our week stay. The town is great and the house was close to stores and restaurants. "

"The listing was very misleading. Booked for 6 people and it said it was a 6 bedroom. Turns out one was a basement and the other was a couch in the breezeway. Unbelievable. Also the checkout was ridiculous. Special grocery bags were required but not even one was provided. The most ridiculous request was that we wash, dry, and put away all towels before we left or a 175 “laundry fee” was applied. Like people don’t take showers and then leave. No, we had to wait to do laundry. Also unbelievable. "

"We arrived at the cottage as the sun was setting and found the scene from the front porch to be beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is very well and accurately described in its VRBO listing. This is a comfortably furnished quaint but small space, not for everyone, but if your vacation objective includes decompressing and simply chilling-out for extended periods of time we would highly recommend it. Following our first full day of witnessing the dramatic tidal change, the point of our 10-day trip quickly became not to leave this little point of land on the Annisquam River. To that end deliveries from Whole Foods, Sebastian’s pizza, take out from Lobsta Land and steamed lobsters from Market Basket helped us achieve our objective. A day trip to Rockport, a great whale watching venture and long walks on nearby Wingaersheek Beach accounted for our departures from the cottage. Jean and Austen were excellent hosts who made us feel most welcome and were always available to answer any questions."

"What a great stay. The house is fantastic and has a lot of amenities for activities. "

"Great location, view and wonderful old beachhouse. the climb up was brutal - I definitely got my steps in!! It would have been nice if the house was less cluttered. So many trinkets and Knick knacks made it a bit claustrophobic. The kitchen woujd be so lovely if you cleaned it out and put back 1/4 of the stuff. Master bedroom was amazing! I gave our stay three stars because it was very dirty. The kitchen sink drains were slimy and disgusting and we arrived to a large bouquet of almost dead flowers. I’m highly allergic to flowers as is one of the other guests. It made for an uncomfortable couple of days until the pollen dissipated. I encourage you to perhaps pay closer attention to the job your cleaner is doing. It’s a lovely old home but does need some love and attention. "
