It was close to everything we wanted to see and do while we were in Strasburg and the surrounding area. If you stay at the Riverside Retreat, be sure to visit the many historical places around the area. Zoar and the Ohio Erie Canal sites are very interesting, along with Fort Laurens, the first continental outpost of the Ohio Frontier, during the American Revolution."

"This place is a hidden gem! Coming from a small town, but can hear road noise on a daily basis it was SO nice to relax on the front patio area in silence! Everything was neat and tidy. Hope, Charm or Walnut Creek. My sister and adult daughter love to get away there for a girls retreat. Eli is a wonderful host. It is very clean and comfortable and has a hot tub! The grill igniter did not work and used foil to cover grill bc it was rusty. Overall the place was super nice hot tub was great not too far from some of the stores and downtown Berlin.
