"This day was the highlight of my trip to Georgia and Armenia. I found the staff to be the highlight and the meal they served us to be the best over two weeks travel. Particularly, Gigi (Georgii) the manager was extremely friendly and encouraged and helped us to discover the traditions near and dear to his heart, as a local. It made for a superb opportunity for my group to learn about local wine, traditions, and growing. The food we were served was superlative, especially the walnut rolls. Cannot recommend this stay more highly, even though the hotel was empty when we visited."

"Nice place and friendly hosts. The location is nice, but not a 10 minute walk to the old town like someone else wrote. It is about 20 minutes. I liked the place, but there is little soundproofing, though the streets are quiet around 10 PM. There was no mini fridge and no bidet (which was indicated on the page). But all in all, nice! Good breakfast though it starts a bit late at 8, but they literally cook it on the spot so it is fresh! And lovely homemade jams and spreads."

"Once at the location, it was very nice, clean & pleasant. Very hard to find, as Google Maps or MAPS.ME will not take you to thr address. Hard to find reception as not in front building & no signs. Breakfast was good & beds were nice 8 clean. "

"The Grand Opera Hotel was perfectly situated in Kutaisi, close to all the main attractions and lots of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Kutaisi."
