The walls are thick concrete so it is absolutely quiet; I never heard noise (voices and doors closing) in the hall or out on the street. There is a lovely balcony with table and 2 chairs and a useful ceiling fan. The location is ideal for walking to the center of town and for the bus stop for busses to the hiking trails and to Sargens, Switzerland, if leaving via Zurich. I can recommend this hotel without reservation."

Solid breakfast bar, nice common areas, and a good location. A bit pricey, but in line with costs in the rest of the Alps. Staff were very nice and accommodating, and helped me figure out bus routes for the two full days of my stay and set me up with the free tourist office bus pass."

Downside: no elevator in the legacy part of the hotel to reach the 2nd and 3rd floors. Makes luggage an issue and not helpful for those with mobility issues. One needs to reserve the newer section of the hotel if this is an issue. Great, comfortable bed - best night's sleep of the last two weeks on the road."
