"I liked how close it was to the theaters for the Shakespeare festival. I liked having a place for my car and being in walking distance for the local restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent.
It was also wonderful to have a refrigerator in my room. "
"Whether you're a dog owner or not, the place is nice and clean. It's in the heart of town next to Southern Oregon State University. I have a little dog, a beagle, and the place was very quiet. The walls are so thick that you really don't hear anybody around you. The staff is very nice and doesn't bother you. So, with that decent price, it's hard to get better than this."

"Over the years traveling between the PNW and California, I’ve passed the Callahan’s Mountain Lodge sign more times than I can count—without realizing just how special this place is. Tucked at the base of Mt. Ashland and right at the crossroads of the Pacific Crest Trail, it’s a location that invites you to slow down. The lodge shows its history in places, but what it offers in charm, warmth, and a true sense of relaxation more than makes up for it. The setting, the people, and the peaceful atmosphere were exactly what we needed ahead of the SOB trail race. A great stay in a one-of-a-kind spot."
