"The grand was fantastic 10 years ago! It seriously needs updating. If you stay more than 1 night, after the air fresheners wear off, you can really smell how nasty the carpet is. Breakfast is still the same as Covid times, it’s a line were people serve you, I like to make my own in the proportions I like, It used to be good now it is mediocre, bland. I remember that lady who used to make the best fresh eggs.! Bar was closed on Saturday night???? The elevators made scary noises and were sketchy…mattress and pillows needed updating . Please make this place to what it used to be. Overall, I like the price i got, but it used to be better."

"Parking was good, staff was good. The pictures online of this hotel looks much nicer than it is. Room needs updating and fresh paint, bathroom was in need of repair. I paid and requested a deluxe handicap accessible room and got a standard king room. I am handicapped and just had a heart surgery 5 days prior and needed the shower, because it was difficult to lift my leg over the tub. The walls had spots all over and looked like splatttered blood, or something brown slung all over it. You can tell the staff try to clean the best they can, but it’s hard when things are falling apart. Breakfast was just cereal oatmeal and waffles, a few muffins , juice and coffee. Very minimal. Until they can upgrade, we won’t be staying here again. Whoever does the reservation for Hotel.com needs to pay attention when someone requests a handicap room, we don’t ask for it for the fun of it! I have stayed in much nicer hotels for what I paid to get a room in Vicksburg for this room! I am very disappointed with hotel.com.!!"

"Please do not stay here. What hotel has no hangers or full length mirrors? Nevermind, the years of dirt on baseboards. The HVAC vent was filled with dirt. The sheets on the bed had to be seven years old. The one wasn’t even a sheet but rather an old duvet cover being used as the bottom sheet. The other bed had a full sized bottom sheet on a queen size bed. The shower had no water pressure and the top of the shower head also had accumulated with dirt. The ironing board was heavily stained and burned, I would have never used it. I was shocked when I discovered this was a Wyndham hotel. I would not have even stayed here for $60 dollars. I’ve truly never been in such a dirty hotel, I fell for the positive ratings on this site, I don’t know if they deleted other old negative ones or if they were incentivized. Even during checkout the guest in front of me had been complaining about mold in her shower. Please see pictures for more detail."

"The room was excellent, extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was good. The grounds were in somewhat of disrepair but it looked as if they were in the process of making repairs. It had what I needed for a good night sleep which was all that I wanted at the time."

"The price seemed good until we walked in our room. Surely being a brand name casino, BALLYS, they would ensure their hotel bearing their name would be nice...nice enough even for a small Mississippi casino. It was bad. It looks like they bought an old motel that just happened to be connected to a casino. I was surprised there weren't hourly rates. It appeared Ballys/Hilton tried to update it with newer looking carpet but it didnt take away from the complete lack of upgrades anywhere else. The bathroom was disgusting and the floor looked like McDonalds from the 70s. You couldn't even shut the door to the bathroom without stepping into the tub. The hallway to the casino wasn't accessible so we had to walk out side and while I was mad at first, once i saw the sad, pathetic patrons of the casino I was glad the hallway was blocked off because it would have likely been a safety concern. The toilet wasn't bolted to the floor, and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. There were blinds and no curtains so if you're in a room facing the parking lot there is light and noise coming in all night...and not sure of full privacy either. Only redeeming quality is the southern hospitality of the workers...seemed very hospitable and accommodating upon our check in."
