"Kind of run down. Breakfast not great. Lots of walls and doors are damaged or have marks. Furniture didn’t really fit the room. TV was small and not centered on the bed. No cable guide. Remote was dirty. "

"The room was very clean. Very old fashioned interiors which add charm to the inn. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The breakfast dinning hall wasn't available durring my visit but I was aware it wasn't available at the time of booking. There is a delightful garden and walking trail on property. Very peaceful to take a break and relax walking through the woods. Flowers hadn't bloomed yet it was to early in the spring. Fairly close to kings island and a brewery eatery right across the street if your into great spirits and good food. Shopping is far away if your looking for convenience items 4 to 8 miles or so. Overall very nostalgic family owned inn that truly appreciates your business. I would recommend giving them a try. You might be pleasantly surprised"

"Rooms need lamps/outlets updated to allow usb plug in. Smart TVs would also be a nice touch. Had a small issue with the room that the GM personally addressed. Dinner was lackluster, but for something that’s free it’s serviceable. Staff an the overall property were both A+ though"

"Staff was very accommodating with our last minute room change. Breakfast area was clean and functional. Close to Walmart, Starbucks and many other stores and restaurants. "

"The staff were great. There is not an elevator and a little outdated. The top bedspread on one bed was very dirty had black marks on it, like mascara. I did not try to switch rooms, it was not a disgusting dirty, maybe like mascara. You could clearly see it and maid should have changed that one out to be washed. The breakfast was very limited, especially for a weekend, where other hotels might offer more of a variety for weekends. I would stay here again."

"Way overpriced. For $140/night you would expect conditions to be much better. There was a foul odor throughout the hotel, room was not well cleaned, and breakfast selection and food quality was not great to say the least "
