The entire staff was very friendly, starting from security to the reception to housekeeping and to the restaurant. They all made my stay very comfortable. Olga and her colleagues at reception were so helpful with everything. I cannot fault them with anything.

Great view of the city. Old world charm. Lovely outside terraces. Nice restaurant for dinners frequented by locals. Effortless parking. Genuinely friendly and dedicated people. Very close to Joe’s Beerhouse, too. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in Windhoek, and recommended it highly.

The property is beautiful on the outside (building, vegetation, and view) and the aerial view of restaurant is absolutely amazing! The rooms are bare-bones (dormitory bedding with comfortable mattresses) and dated (80s/90s-style), with minimal on fabric bedding (pillows, blankets, and decor). Yet, the rooms are functional and comfortable. The heater is a bit slow so the winter nighttime is brisk in the room (late June). When we first arrived the water was brown and bubbling out of the pipes, but this cleared up after about 10 minutes of running the water. The staff were friendly and the food was great. We enjoyed the location, as the hotel is in an outside of the city and on top of a nice, hilly neighborhood.

Sehr schönes Hotel, außergewöhnliche Lage auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf die Stadt. Abends kann man draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen und man hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang hinter den Bergen. Der Frühstücksraum hat auch eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Wir haben als vierköpfige Familie zwei Nächte dort verbracht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber und man fühlt sich sehr wohl.

Because of flood it was hard to get to the hotel. We booked a family room which according to the descriptions supposed to have 2 double beds and 2 single beds. The room we got had 2 single beds with 2 single blankets

Das Hotel liegt in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel mit schöner Aussicht. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Familienapartment mit Balkon. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend. Vom Parkplatzwächter über die Rezeption bis zu den Kellnern im Restaurant sind alle um bestmöglichen Service bemüht. Wirklich eine Empfehlung.

Das Hotel hat eine absolute traumhafte Lage, da es auf einem Berg angesiedelt ist,abseits von jeglichem Trubel. Vom Restaurant hat man einen einzigartigen Blick über Windhoek.Leider hat das Restaurant an Sonn- und Feiertagen geschlossen.Auf Anfrage,wo man den traditionell gut essen könnte gab es nur ein Restaurantempfehlung.Allerdings wurde man dort mit dem Hoteleigenen Shuttle kostenlos hingebracht und auch wieder abgeholt.Das empfohlene Restaurant war mehr schlecht als recht.Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ absolut keine Wünsche offen es war phantastisch.
