Beautiful views. House needs some repairs. Hot tub temp uncontrollable. Sink leaks and makes slip hazard in bathroom. No coffee (VRBO standards). Managed by property company so no personal services provided, simple ask for birthday flowers to be at property could not be accomplished. Don’t expect quick response to question.

Property was secluded and very nice. The swimming pool was just right. Although the place was not clean and looked like it was under remodeling. I wish i would have none this before booking. We did enjoy ourselves anyway. Still a good place to stay with nice views.

Relaxing, beautiful weekend getaway

An awesome little place with an incredible view. Very private and romantic. Absolutely loved the place, though for the price, I did expect everything to be working. For our mid-December 2023 stay, the fireplace was out of order, the door to the only toilet was broken and could not close, and one of the smoke alarms went off once an hour while tring to sleep from 11pm until 3am. Despite those disapointments, it was an enjoyable stay, loved the house.

The location was great. The property itself needs some love. The hot tub in the pics by the pool was not functioning. No WiFi. The door from the bedroom to the patio would not open to go to the working hot tub. Bed was comfy.

The view was great! Unfortunately I can’t say that about anything else. The property could be very nice. It seemed like a remodel that was not complete. It was very dirty. The sheets had not been changed. There were no hand rails to the pool or bars/ handrails to enter or exit the pool. No one returned our calls, texts or email once we arrived. I actually called the following morning and spoke to someone. We left after one night and received a refund for the second night.

Fantastic stay, room for it to be truly amazing!

Let me first start out by saying. This is a truly remarkable property and place to stay. From the location, the views, and the house itself. You don’t find something like this being able to be rented. Now let me say how this rental could even be more amazing… First of all, if there could be wi-fi added. You are in a remote area and reception is spotty. The hot tub next to the door leading into the kitchen. If that was functional, talk about a really beautiful view that also is on the main level of the house! The pool is not heated, however, it looks like at one point it was as there still is heating equipment outside, just not connected. The cooler weather days, this would make it enjoyable to be in the pool without freezing. Lastly, if there was washer/dryer available for use, especially if the stays last longer than a few days. Like I previously said, it was a great time overall and would stay again. Highly recommend!

Mixed Reviews on This Property

Before booking, we read the reviews that said this was the most beautiful and romantic place ever, and the ones that said a lot of things didn't work and it wasn't an ideal experience, and we weren't sure what to believe - after staying there, I think it's somewhere in the middle, and we wouldn't stay there again, even though there were positives to the experience. The view of absolutely gorgeous, and it feels very secluded and private. It is very spacious for a 1-bedroom house and had a few unique design elements that were very neat. Watching sunset and sunrise is gorgeous. Those pros, weighed with the cons, didn't seem to be enough to justify the cost of this property for us. The fireplaces either didn't work or were under maintenance (which doesn't seem to be a totally isolated experience given other reviews), the furniture and decor is a bit dated, the hot tub was set at a very low temperature when we arrived (which meant we couldn't use it one of the two nights of our stay), and there wasn't enough hot water to draw a full bath. There also isn't wifi, which is advertised, but our phone service wasn't quite strong enough to hotspot to a laptop to watch netflix, and since they didn't have a smart TV we couldn't log in there either. There aren't blinds in the bedroom, so when the sun rises you will be awake. Beware that you are about 20+ minutes from any sort of restaurants. Overall we weren't completely dissatisfied, but we wouldn't choose to stay there again!
