We had room 218. First day we walked in it looked ok. I did a good look through the room. It look good. I waoke up in the middle of the night to to the bathroom and I started to see a roach here and a roach there. Before I knew it there were crawling. I was like nope we are leaving. We packed our bags and headed out of there! They need a full on extermination! Possibly multiple times until they are gone. Matter fact they need all new funiture and beds! Never again!

I thought I was in the wrong place when I first arrived...thought it was an abandoned hotel. Overgrown with grass, trash everywhere, pool filled in with concrete, fences dilapidated. filthy exterior of building, just terrible all around. Never again.

Do not go by the photographs, the propriety looks structurally damaged, weeds growing that they don’t care about, pool filled in with cement, holes in the walls, and worst bed bugs, customer service doesn’t answer phone but standing behind counter with nobody to be serviced, will never ever recommend, so bad it should be removed from Expedia

I would not recommend property surprise the property is listed on Orbitz. Room smelled like mildew, over grown weeds, no pool, paint pilling, dusty dirty drapery, carpet smelled.

Not a good choice.

Spooky stairs. Terrible cable-- only a few stations. Used soap, used cup, other dirt and evidence of previous occupants. Saw 2 roaches. Useless neighborhood. Friendly's, Boston Market and IHOP were all nearby but closed. You can do much better for the same money.

Like a horror movie

I didn't even bother staying in the room. As soon as you pull up to the place it looks so neglected and almost abandoned. I checked in and went up to the room and it was dark and smelled like an old ashtray. The bathroom was disgusting. I've seen porta-potties nicer than this. I came with my kids and their mom for parents weekend at UDel. I didn't even bother having them come out of the car. I drove across the street to the Red Roof Inn and booked a room.

I wish I could say we were pleasantly surprised, but we were not. We only stayed because we had no other options for our Freshman's Family Weekend at University of Delaware. The room was rundown and very very outdated. The property was ill-kept. The swimming pool was filed in with concrete, the exterior was covered in mildew and falling apart in places. In the room, the sink & faucets were dirty (we cleaned them ourselves and saw the scum), the refrigerator was dented and scratched, the bed was very uncomfortable. The door had a huge gap in the casing which is where the crickets that we found in the bathroom probably came in. I read other reviews after we booked siting bedbugs and cockroaches and we did a check before bringing our bags in and found none so we stayed out of desperation, but we lived out of our bags for the 2 nights we stayed instead of unpacking. We will not be staying there again as we will get sooner notice of University events going forward. I wish we could report better, but we cannot.

The staff was rude and trying to produce extra cost to get money out if me. The hotel is also completely run down with broken air conditioning units and lights in the rooms half work and half dont. Worst hotel experience ever!!
