"The hotel was nothing but perfect. Well, yes, they are under construction. It does not take away from the ambience or the experience of enjoying the hotels, beautiful scenery, the rooftop lounge and pool area and the amazing on site bar for your dinning pleasure."

But according to staff at the hotel , if you go through the Marriott site there is a less expensive way to book parking, which they would prefer you do. They were not happy we showed up without doing that, but pointed us to spothero, which was less than the $25/night."

"As Expedia VIP members who frequent luxury hotels, we were extremely disappointed by the service here. We called twice in advance two weeks before and the day before to confirm that engagement photos were permitted for guests. Despite this, staff interrupted us three separate times during our shoot to demand ID and room numbers. It was unprofessional and felt like harassment, especially after we did our due diligence to follow every rule. While the historic look is beautiful on TikTok, the service does not match the aesthetic. We expected much better for such a significant life event. March 1, 2026, room 106."
