Ada's Midtown Garden

This cute 2BR is one unit of a side-by-side duplex with an amazing garden located right in midtown Wilmington! The carefully cultivated backyard garden is remarkable: nearly year round flowers, birds singing, a coi pond, water fountains, and plenty of space to relax outside. Nestled in a cute community, and super convenient to grocery stores, shopping, UNCW, 10 min to Wrightsville Beach, 20 min to Carolina Beach. Located on a bike trail that runs from the Cape Fear River to downtown and the ocean!!

As you enter the garden, you'll be under a pagoda with a tiled patio, where you can enjoy the outdoors even in the rain. Then you'll see an an incredibly peaceful landscape of native plants, tropical delights, a variety of flowers so there are nearly year round blooms, a coi pond, water fountains, and brick and cobblestone pathways throughout the garden. It's hard to put into words how relaxing and peaceful it is. Then at night, the garden automatically lights up and is simply stunning. The palm trees in the front yard light up as well. There's a loquat tree in the backyard that has delicious fruit for you to enjoy when it's in season.

The home is completely remodeled with new everything, and is nice, clean, and updated. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics and a coffee and snack bar. The spacious living room has comfortable seating and a large Roku smart TV and wifi. Vaulted ceilings throughout, dining room with table, washer/dryer. Each bedroom has a brand new comfy queen memory foam/gel hybrid mattress with mattress protector. Enjoy off street parking in the driveway.

Romantic getaway, family trip, or weekend with friends, Ada's Midtown Garden will surely be a memorable trip for everyone.

Perfect spot to visit Wilmington

If you're looking for an oasis for a stay in Wilmington look no further. Clean, well accommodated, extremely helpful property owners, and yes the garden is just as it appears in the pictures. Close to everything including Wrightsville Beach.

Beautiful getaway

Very peaceful and very clean. The back courtyard is an oasis we enjoyed for breakfast, reading, and happy hour. Beautiful place inside and out, and near many restaurants, grocery stores etc.

Ada's Midtown Garden was an amazing place to stay during our trip to Wilmington. The central location gave us great access both to downtown Wilmington and the beach. The place itself was clean, comfortable and full of conveniences. Would recommend to everyone!

The Best place in Wilmington area.

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to the area. Close to beaches and downtown boardwalks. Can not say it enough how much we enjoyed our vacation stay. We will be back someday!

Wonderful Apartment

Duplex was immaculate and very spacious. It also had a nice garden and sitting area in back. The location was very convenient to everything; however, the street was very quiet. I would definitely stay again if vacationing in that area!

Perfect location, beautiful home & yard. The home had everything we needed and had plenty of room to cook in the kitchen and hang out in the living room. Quiet street, but close to everything and convenient to get around. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect little spot

My mom and I went to look at homes for my son who will be relocating in the summer. We were hardly at the house, but each time we arrived it felt so welcoming. I loved the sound of the water fountain at night. So relaxing. The attention to detail was so nice. A basket with snack, the make-up remover wipes for us ladies and just the cleanliness overall was so much appreciated. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home.

Close to Greenway & lovely Garden!

We went to Wilmington to visit old friends a bike! The house is close to the Greenway and centrally located between the beach and historic district. Beds are comfy and house well appointed. TV’s work great. Very roomy and outdoor space private and was good for hosting our friends.

Cozy and quiet

Perfect location for visiting my college daughters. Very clean, comfortable beds, easy check in and out process, safe area. Backyard area very welcoming and cute. Kitchen has bare minimum but I made do. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Less than 10 minutes to UNCW. Super cozy feel overall.

Nice place.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable. noise from other side was not enough to be bothersome other than that I was there alone and it took me a while to figure out that it was noise from the other unit rather than someone trying to break into my unit.

Mini oasis

I booked my Wilminton trip originally for Spring Break, but I had to move my stay since my son was sick. The owners made the transition easy and were very accommodating. One the second go around everything was seamless and communication was great. My son and I loved our stay and were amazed by the setting. The koi pond and backyard oasis were so relaxing. I loved having my morning coffee out there. The house is clean and beautiful. It was the perfection location to get the downtown experience as well as take a trip to the beach. I loved it and I can’t wait to go back.

Enjoyed Pawleys island

The check in process was the most challenging one we have had so far with VRBO. The condo was fairly clean- showers and bathrooms need some deep cleaning. The bedrooms need curtains. There is a light near the elevator that is so bright. It made it very hard to sleep. Most of the lamps in the family room didn’t work. We were only in town one night so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool/beach.
