Rent a boat or kayak and explore the vast and one of a kind Lake Champlain. Don't forget the winter season, Whiteface Mountain is just 23 miles and less than an hour away. If skiing and boarding are your thing you will love Whiteface. Take the ferry over to Vermont and explore Stowe or Killington.
Willsboro offers a public golf course, public tennis and pickleball courts, lots of hiking, a boat launch to Lake Champlain and so much more. Nearby Westport Marina offers boat and kayak rentals.
Less than 10 minutes to the Vermont ferry (Essex to Charlotte). You can take the ferry (which is totally fun to do) and explore Burlington Vermont which is just on the other side of Lake Champlain.
