"We came to Simpsonville for my daughter’s wedding and this was the perfect place for all the out of town family to stay. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Our host communicated immediately when I needed to change our dates. If needed, I would definitely stay here again. "

"Very uncomfortable. Bed was too soft. Had a backache every day. Pull out couch was very hard. Could have used one or two comfortable chairs. There is plenty of room for them. Very noisy people up stairs. There is supposed to be quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. That is not the case. The up stairs people were up at all hours of the night. There is no sound proofing so you hear every foot step or dropped item. Let the owner know about this. Was a little beter for a night or two. Then right back to noise all night. The place was not that clean. It is older and it shows it's age. Had one Palmetto bug and one gecko in the place. The lighting in the kitchen area is very poor. Hard to see around the stove area. There were also some burned out bulbs. Outside noise is also bad. Scuffletown road is busy all night. Loud cars racing up and down at any hour. The TV does not get local channels. Were told to use our own streaming service. It was a cheap enough option for the amount of time we were in the area. Disappointed in Vrbo on this property. "

"The host sent a lot of messages leading up to the stay regarding rules, etc. This was a little off putting as instead of 1 message, it was many. That said, I understand wanting to keep your home in good condition. However, upon check in, the home seemed to have several issues of disrepair including cigarette butts (when no smoking was one of the rules). I was worried that I would potentially get blamed for the disrepair. I contacted the host, but it just felt off to me that they were so vocal about the care of the home and yet it was not in great shape when I checked in. It also bothered me that there was nothing covering the bathroom windows (not even privacy film). My whole family felt so weird when we showered. Overall, this VRBO looks cute and has some nice touches (like k-cups, or cute folds on the paper towels) but I think some of the major things were overlooked and they should do a better job of checking the home between stays. I do appreciate the host for allowing us to bring our pet and having a reasonable pet fee. That was wonderful and its a great home for pets. That said, when I travel with my pet I am extra cautious of making sure I leave the home we stay in good condition. The fact that this home was in disrepair when we checked in made me nervous. I did not want to get blamed and having to message the host about that was an annoying part of my trip. We were visiting family that we rarely see and that was a distraction. "

She leaves out snacks for people and dogs. The backyard is amazing, the covered porch is inviting. This is one rental that will go above and beyond your desires. Thank you Jolyn for your hospitality "
