Quiet country setting with a covered front porch just a few steps away from Longmire lake in Stratford, Ok. R.C. Longmire, situated between Pauls Valley and Stratford, features 15 miles of shoreline and over 900 surfacej acres. Constructed primarily as a water supply lake by the late R.C. Longmire, the lake has a number of recreational activities including fishing, boating, camping, hiking, bird watching, hunting and swimming.
If you like to hunt, fish or just spend a quiet relaxing weekend this is the place for you. Unplug, unwind and relax.

The property was clean, everything worked, and I appreciated having a kitchen and being near the lake. It’s a beautiful and quiet place. A little hard to find, but the owners were very helpful in navigating us to finding the cabin.

Very Very quiet location. And you can lock the gate at the road and you are very secured! Had every thing you would need inside? Only problem was, had no wi-fi to check my internet!

Lovely get away

This cabin was perfect for our stay. We were in the area for a softball tournament. We were also looking for some where to stay lowkey and enjoy our long weekend. It was cute, quaint and secluded just like we wanted!

Very Clean cabin

All the towels, bed sheets and kitchen were cleaned. The host kept the cabin in a top notch condition. I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a nicest cabin.

Willow Creek Cabin Stay

Cabin was very comfortable, clean and homey. The bedroom was roomy with a very comfortable bed. There was a large, full size hot water heater which provided more than adequate hot water! Wooded area with access to backwaters of the lake was lovely. Overall very wonderful experience. Only negative: it was very hard to find initially; asked for directions at Sinclair station in Stratford and they were familiar with property and gave us great directions. I would highly recommend this property!

Everything was so nice, no wifi but that’s not a terrible thing. There was atv noise at 5:30 in the am around the area and again at 8 am that was annoying given how quiet the area is. But do look forward to staying here again.

Cabin in the Woods

We were pleased that the property was even better than described. It was spacious, clean, and beautifully located in a private setting. I have to say it was more than what I'd call a few steps from the lake but we had no problem taking a cooler and gear down the trail to the waterside. If you're wanting to unplug, this is truly a hidden gem.

Great secluded getaway

Had everything we needed ,very clean and comfortable. I would like to see a bug zapper , there were citronella candles that didn't work very well on the gnats and wasp.( it was worth a try ) Also owner probably needs to tack down rug between entry door and couch. ( trip hazard) Would like to come back in cooler weather to relax and fish. Thanks 😊

Quiet Getaway

We had an amazingly quiet stay. It’s was clean and quiet and equipped for everything you might need. The bed was cozy and lounging in front of the TV was spacious. Sitting on the front porch and listening to the outdoors was so relaxing. We had a great stay!

Who in the world would have thought to put a VRBO here?! We are so thankful that they did! There aren’t many places to stay in this area and after working a late rodeo and being hot, tired and filthy it was a welcome sight! The only thing I would change is the map on Expedia, clicking in that and going off those directions took up to a completely wrong location, but when we Googled the address it took us right there.

AMAZING!!!

Everything from the location to communication with the owners was top notch! The only complaint I have is that we didn't have more time to stay there. We definitely look forward to coming back.
