I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, and the room was very quiet. The staff and management were helpful when needed. The breakfast served was pretty bland and tasteless - pancake machine was broken, egg white "omelet" was tasteless; fruit was very limited, there really was not much to eat there. In other words, a typical hotel discounted breakfast. Any real restaurant would be better. Management tried to help me fix my room reservation, where I had mistakenly booked a room at a rate way above what I could get reimbursed by the company I was working for. The hotel management said they could adjust my rate, since I am a veteran. But Expedia, which handled the reservation, would not allow the hotel to adjust my rate downward. Expedia told the hotel manager that on the phone, and they told me that in an email. However, an Expedia customer "service" guy told me the manager was wrong, that the hotel was free to adjust my room rate downward because this was a "hotel collect" reservation. But Expedia told me just the opposite in an email where they said they would not allow a change because "they were protecting me!!" Expedia wound up costing me a lot of extra money, because they would not allow the hotel to adjust my room rate. And their customer "service" people won't admit what they did, and won't admit that they did it to make a higher commission for Expedia. The hotel was great, but Expedia not so much.
